Snack and beverage selections were plentiful, and the hot and fresh foods looked fresh. There was a small selection of plushies too (squishmallows, etc). Tyler at the register was so friendly and hospitable and really seemed to care a lot about doing his job well. Overall, this was a great stop on a long drive. Highly recommend!

I'm lucky enough to be just down the road from this place when I am visiting my parents in Maine, and we go here on at least a weekly basis. Everyone here is super friendly - stepping into the Middle Road General Store, you'll witness lots of neighborhood folks, locals, and old friends catching up. Coming here makes me instantly nostalgic for days of my childhood spent biking or walking to this place - I'm sure I've been here hundreds of times over the years. While most things I've gotten here have been very good, the real treasure is the baked goods - their freshly baked bread is awesome, and their cinnamon rolls are legendary. Also a big shoutout to their Tourtiere Pies, which are wonderful, though they may be seasonal (if you've never had Tourtiere Pie, you need to remedy that right now!). I've got nothing but love for the Middle Road General Store.
