On a visit to Cody, Nebraska, I fell in love with this convenient little store right in the center of town. There are two registers to the left of when you enter, and plastic bags are free (no 5 cent fee!). I bought a bag of pretzels, a jar of peanut butter, and some candy, but the store has a tons of merchandise and even produce (fresh fruits and veggies). The store is volunteer-run by students from the local high school, and they are super friendly. read more
