This place looks nice but rude staff. Andrea Pansa has two shops - a chocolate and gelato shop on one side of the square and a lemon cake shop on the other side. Our kids got lemon cake and brought it to the chocolate shop where my wife and I had gotten coffee they wouldn't let us eat it there!!! So then we went to the cake shop. They wouldn't let us eat their own cake in their own cake shop because we got take away and it's a different price! Terrible and rude service. The cake was very good but service rude and terrible. The only reason I give two stars was due to the good cake. But skip this place and frankly skip Amalfi. There's lots of other good sweet shops around in other towns. read more

Small, neat store in the center of the piazza. I bought a small jar of their Crema Nocciola (similar to Nutella) and it was only 4.50 euro! Of course I had a taste and it was amazing. Fresh and light. After dinner, we even came back here for a piece of chocolate each. The dark chocolate hazelnut was delicious and smooth and I loved how you could choose what size piece you wanted. My boyfriend got a piece of white chocolate with cereali and really enjoyed that as well. Gelato looked amazing too! read more

Good gelato, convenient location, just wished they had more flavors besides the typical ones! Their chocolate factory is down the road but this waa my go to spot for gelato while in Amalfi! Right in the main piazza across from the duomo and they're open late if you ever get the urge for some good gelato. My favorite flavors were stracciatella, caffe espresso, and hazelnut. read more
