A Local and Independent Micro-Brewery in the heart of SLP Mexico grabbed my full attention…read more This place is very well executed, tasty food, fun music venue, big patio, clean banos, and a varietal selection of drinks. They offer brewery tours as well. I don't know what's missing but I'm sure the people behind this place are already planning for it. I did the beer sampler and a corte de arrechera. Very good quality meat, the steak was a lot thicker than your typical arrechera and was just popping with juice. My favorite beer is the obscura Segundo Imperio. The obscura really hits my panza with great pleasure. Also if you can't make it here before they close you can find these beers in a few places around town. Gracias y Nos Vemos Legendaria!

Also I ordered a Filete de Pescado al Ajillo...it wasn't that good. The fish did not taste fresh and had no flavor. We brought our kids and we barely see them. They have a huge playground area on the back where kids play and run around. Very convenient if you bring families with kids!

This place has 18 rooms all of them decorated like it was back in the 19th century, which takes you back to that time. There is a tunnel underneath that takes you to the building across the street, where a nice wine cellar along with dining tables is built under the street. The restaurant offers French and international cuisine. It has different rooftop patios with nice sightseeing to the city which is ideal for a romantic date with your significant other. My two complaints are as follows. 1, $250 dollars went missing from my room and the front staff and hotel security person were not apologetic, helpful nor seemed to care. 2, on the Saturday there were several wedding photo shoots inside the hotel which made it uncomfortable to enjoy the lobby. At night they had a quinceañera Party with loud music. I asked the front staff if that music was going to go on late because my groups had an early wake up. I was assured that the event would be over at 12:30 sharp. I felt more at ease after being told that. Well it was past 1:30 am and the loud music still continued. This hotel has no respect for its guests and after the party finally ended the young teenagers from the party who were staying at our hotel were loud , running around and it went on for a bit and hotel management allowed all this. In the morning when it was brought up to hotel staff they again did not apologize nor did they seem to care that we couldn't get a good nights sleep. For the amount of money we paid for the room the service and respect from the hotel staff is insulting. I suggest staying at Hotel Progreso.
