This is a long overdue review that I should have done. Danny helped us with our wedding two years…read moreago in Las Vegas and we did not have to worry about a thing about photography/videography. So let me start by a few strong points of him, as well as my honest review. -Professionalism: Danny has been doing this a while, and I felt that everything he does, he wants quality, perfection, and I can really tell he took pride in his works. Danny constantly asked about my vision of the wedding, how I wanted it to be, gave advices about the settings, planned ahead and walked me through. He has been to so many weddings and he gave me his honest observations such as when it comes to family photos it wasn't a chaos trying to find everyone; and he would spend some hours prior to the wedding at the venue trying to figure out which spots are great for photos. -Communication: I started reaching out to him about a year before the wedding, and Danny was very responsive, I get the answers right away within the day. -Quality: Danny always tries to capture the best moments, there were a few times I saw he was just sitting down to get a drink for a few seconds and he was on his feet again. The photos came out better than I expected. -Danny brings a very energetic vibe to the party. He wasn't just some guy you hire just to show up, snaps a few hundreds photos and then meh whatever. The day before my wedding, he said he wanted to take some photos at Valley of Fire, which is an hour away, I asked him if he was sure since it was super hot especially in suits and wedding gowns, and it was kinda far! He went "This is your wedding, I want you to have a great memory. Don't worry". I mean, this guy flew from East Coast to Las Vegas, arrived a few days early to look for places for my pre-wedding photos. He drove to Valley of Fire the day before and said this was it. I don't know if I ever met any photographer with that kind of energy. Ok this part is about my honest/suggestions for people who haven't met Danny yet. Since he wants perfection, quality and best photos: he often will direct you and your guests so that he can capture everything. To us, we were totally for it, I'm not a professional in photography or know anything about it. And there's someone who already planned and did everything? I'm sold, I had other stuff to worry about on my wedding day. Again, thank you Danny for your time, and your work.

And he doesn't pressure you into buying anything you don't want. We set up a date and the locales that we wanted to shoot. The engagement shoot went very well. He will tell you how to pose exactly and he will capture the perfect angles and you can pitch ideas as you go along. We stuck to the preselected locations and William came up with a few improv locations/shots as well. We had him for a total of 3 hours and boy did the time fly by! I do warn that afterwards you will be very tired - be prepared to hold poses and natural smiles. William was professional, understanding, and was prepared for the unanticipated the whole time! The teaser took a little more than 2 weeks to post on his website. All images were available for proofing within the month. And he sends a CD of all the corrected images within 2 months. After submitting the final revisions to your proof, took less than a month to receive the physical album. The album that we received was exactly what was discussed with no surprises with the layout that we chose. Couldn't be happier!

We hired William for the following services: engagement photo shoot, wedding day photographer, wedding day photo booth (Momobooth), rush photo printing (20x30 canvas), and wedding photo album. During our first meeting, William took the time to show us his work and samples of the gorgeous flat-lay wedding albums. More importantly, he asked us questions to get a sense of what WE were looking for in our wedding photos. We never felt pressured to book immediately or book add-on's if we didn't need them. During the engagement shoot, William was super patient when my feet started hurting (dying) from walking around Central Park in heels. Ladies, bring a change of shoes even if your heels are really annoying to put on. Our shoot ran over by an hour, but William never rushed me as I hobbled to the next shooting location. We walked 2-3 miles that day. FML. Another thing we really appreciated about William are his simple directions while shooting. He doesn't over-direct. As for the wedding day, he was great. He showed up early to scout a first-look location around our hotel. He had his own transportation so he didn't need to ride in the party bus with us. He worked quickly at Jane's Carousel (DUMBO) when we found a spot that wasn't crowded. He got great pics of the ceremony without being a distraction. I didn't even notice him. He and his assistant took endless group pics during the reception. I wonder if they even ate their meals. Momobooth was loved by our guests. It's an enclosed booth with a cloth backdrop. The booth comes with an attendant and photo props. The guests get to choose from a few photo layouts. I was able to customize the photo layouts with William. One nice bonus feature is getting a soft copy of all the photo booth pics taken throughout the night. William made editing the wedding album an easy process by starting it for me. He formats each page and chooses pics that tell the story of the wedding day. When you have a 1,000+ pics to look through, you appreciate getting some help. I asked him to work his Photoshop magic on some pics. That dress hanging awkwardly over my bridesmaid's head in an otherwise beautiful group shot? Poof. Gone. William made our lives easier. Everything was convenient. Payments were made online. Photos were available online and later delivered on cute flash drives. He even made us a slideshow. I didn't know that was part of the package but it came in handy when my FIL asked for a slideshow. Thanks for everything, William!!

Andrew went above and beyond our expectations on both days. When we first met with him, one of the things that impressed us was his excitement for our wedding. We had met with several photographers before Andrew, but none of them exhibited the same excitement that we felt from Andrew. Once he showed us his work from other weddings, it was a no brainer. We loved his unique style and his ability to capture the emotions of the day. Another thing we were looking for was a non-traiditional photographer. We did not want to pose for a million ordinary pictures, we wanted our pictures to be candid and original. We also wanted the photographer to be able to capture all of this without being obtrusive. That's exactly what we got with Andrew. After the wedding, we were jokingly called Andrew a ninja photographer, because that's exactly what he was. He captured everything ninja-style, darting in and out for shots, not interrupting the festivities. Andrew was superb during our wedding but it is just as important for your photographer to deliver your images shortly after. Andrew came trough in perfect time. Within a month, we had all of our images available for us in our online gallery. When we first saw the pictures, we were beyond excited to share them with our families and our guests. Since then, we have received countless compliments from everyone. Everyone loved the style of the pictures, it was something they had not seen before. Andrew did not only take pictures, he captured the energy and spirit of so many people in his images. We are now trying to decide which ones to have printed, but are having a very hard time because they are all phenomenal. We will definitely be recommending Andrew to all of our friends in the future. No one else could have captured our memories more beautifully.

Amber Marlowe Blatt is a nice person who needs to find a new line of work…read more I'll post a full review of my experiences with her, but here is the quick summary: - We hired her twice. The first time, she did great work. We were happy. - We hired her again a year later, to take family photos. She did the shoot. She showed me some of the work through the viewfinder and said it was wonderful. And then she called me a week later and told me that she had LOST *ALL* OF THE IMAGES! Gone. Zero. I do marketing for a living and have hired perhaps twenty photographers in my life for over a hundred photo shoots. This is the first time I had ever heard of someone losing the work for a day's session. It just doesn't happen, because it is the ultimate badge of disgrace for a photographer. So what happened? She said she was sharing her studio with some folks doing a different project, they had taken a memory card from her desk, thought it was blank, etc. There are some serious issues here -- why is someone who bills as a professional letting other people grab memory cards from her desk? Why is she selling her time for hundreds of dollars and then pulling the memory card out -- representing not just her efforts but the time and energy a family takes to coordinate schedules and dress the kids -- and then not bothering to push the write protect tab? Why is she shooting on digital media and not bothering to make a copy of the work before charging in on other projects? Or, if she is running to an emergency, can't make a copy, you might at least write on the card with a Sharpie and say "do not use" or write the date of the session or write anything? Anything at all? We could debate this over and over. But someone who can't secure their digital work should not be shooting events for a living. You cannot "redo" a wedding. You cannot "redo" a birthday or bar mitzvah or other major life event. If you care about getting quality work, you should not be hiring this person. So that was the worst phone call ever -- "Hi, it's Amber, whoops, sorry, nothing left." And then, to add insult to injury, she apologized and offered "to do the shoot again without charging us." Are you f'ing serious? That was basically offering nothing. Of course she can't charge us for a second shoot. We had paid for the first shoot, spent our time and energy, and gotten zip out of it. Through her clear and pure incompetence. And then she did the second shoot and the images were poor. We couldn't and didn't use any of them. There were even instances in the second shoot when I said things to her like "are you sure we are centered under the sign" and Amber said yes, yet we were not. Bad image. Same thing with the sunlight -- "are you sure there won't be too much shadow at this time of day?" Amber said we were okay. We were not. She clearly didn't want to do the shoot a second time, or take the time to make it right, when she knew we weren't going to use her again. So -- sorry Amber. Nice person. Needs a new job. Ben
