Ron is THE REAL DEAL. I had my home stuccoed a few weeks before Milton. Then BOOM! Milton Hit. I was pre-occupied with other tasks and I put painting and sealing the new stucco on hold. Over time, the stucco began to stain and I knew I needed to have it painted and sealed CORRECTLY. I began the daunting task of seeking out good quality paint companies. I called several of these companies that appear on your "Facebook feed" and they all send out estimators and pride themselves on "getting it done in 2 days, with these products". To be honest, I was not happy. They all wanted to use products that was inferior to the product(s) I wanted to use, and they all wanted to do a "spray and back roll" and call it 2 coats and be done in 2 days. What I didn't like, was that the estimators were not painters themselves, but just estimators and some of them could not answer my questions. I wanted to use the top-quality Sherwin Williams Loxon XP as a primer and sealer which has elastomeric properties and they all wanted to use a cheaper "conditioner" as a primer. I was beginning to get stressed. Then came Ron from Cillo Coatings. Ron came out and IMMEDIATLEY knew without me even saying what the home needed. I loved the fact that he comes out personally as the owner, he doesn't send estimators. He used the BEST OF THE BEST product on my home (exactly what I was asking for) and even tinted the primer to help hide any stains and did it EXACTLTY the way I asked him to do it. The project took 5 days, because him and his team took their time and touched every corner with care and delicacy. I feel he literally gave me a 20-yr paint job. The paint and primer was thick, like icing on a cake and the home looks AMAZING. He let everything cure appropriately and took pride in his work. He is genuine and he is a pleasure to have working on your property. To be even more honest, we became friends. His crew is great and they are all top notch and do not cut corners. The best part was I feel like I received a paint job 10000 times better than any of the other companies could have provided and the cost was is the same ballpark. I could not be happier. From my very first conversation with Ron it was clear that he pays attention to detail and wants to do the job the right way without cutting any corners. Our house in the Old Northeast of St. Petersburg really, really, needed exterior painting. We were also having work done on the interior, too... getting rid of the popcorn ceilings and resurfacing the plastered walls in half the house. So we really needed a reliable painter. Our experience with painters has not been good, but Ronnie Cillo restored our faith in painting contractors. The prep work on the exterior of the house and garage was a nightmare. Ronnie painted our entire exterior as well as repaired hairline cracks in the stucco. He power washed first, hand rolled two coats of primer then finished with the color.
