This amazing market (aka the spice bizarre,) offers an array of Turkish spices and herbs, along with delicious teas and sweets. There are also dried fruits and grilled corn along with roasted chestnuts sold just outside the bizarre.
There are over 100 individually owned shops much of whom sell the exact same products. So, deciding on which shop to visit can be rather daunting. However, with this being my second visit to Istanbul and visiting this same shop,I believe I've found the place to go. I did purchase a couple bags of teas, which I tried in the store and were delicious.
When visiting Istanbul and in search of teas or spices, I would definitely recommend stopping by this shop. read more
