About a year ago the Delhaize received a facelift and is better than ever. Everything is organized and the aisles are wide. I love the large produce section. Be sure to sign up for a loyalty card - for every 2 euros you spend you receive a point and for every 500 points you receive a 5 euro bon. This might seem like it'd take forever, but there are always promotions for extra points. And once you've been shopping enough, you receive promotions in the mail chosen just for you!

I wish we had a shop like this IN Brussels -- surely the British community is larger there? -- but the Vlasmarkt in Antwerp is actually quite easy to reach by public transport, and even quicker than Everberg or Waterloo ... The shop is small -- most night shops are bigger -- but quite well stocked, and if you can't find a specific item, don't hesitate to ask for it, they might bring it for you next time they stock up in the UK. Only cash though, so come prepared!
