Rather than feeling welcomed, my partner and I felt uneasy and out of place. This type of decor raises serious questions about how Black patrons are expected to feel in this space. Unfortunately, the environment made it clear that we were not considered or respected, and it ultimately made our experience uncomfortable and unwelcoming.
