Stopped in there to check it out on a visit to Bucksport. We frequent the area a couple of times…read moreevery year or so it's OK if you're in a pinch not a very friendly place but if you need something real quick, it's OK not there to make friends anyway, however there's a place across the street the cigarette shop I believe it's called that had way more selections on pipe stuff which is what I was looking for again. If you're in a pinch it's OK. The staff was friendly and helpful but it was pricey I paid five dollars or more for a can of pipe tobacco then I would've if I just bought it online, but they did have more tobacco and more pipes selections as well as a humidor for cigars which I would've went into, but I brought enough of my own with me all in all I'm learning that most of the shops are just OK if you're in a pinch, but the way things are going now in the economy I'll stick to buying online my bulk stuff. It's pretty much half the price so you get more for sure.

I am a avid shopper at this smoke shop I am in there at least 2x weekly. ( Not the friendliness ladies I have come across) The problem I have is the man WILLIAM that works there. His behavior to me is appalling!! from emptying out the extra change on the counter ( I needed 5 cents once and he dumps the extra change so I couldn't use it) i had to use my card for 5 freaking cents. To EVERYTIME I buy something from empty tubes to incents he cards me. EVERYTIME!! The other employees have carded me but once they have they don't ask for it again. I have brought this up to him - about how he's the only one that asked for it after seeing me in there just days ago. he tried to explain 40 and younger they HAVE to card. I looked it up its 30 and younger (im 37) and he has now taken me on as a challenge to card me EVERYTIME. If the other smoke shop that's just a throw away would carry the brand of tubes i wanted i wouldn't shop there EVER again!! I understand its the law if one of their stores F*** up and get caught selling to underage they have to put this practice in effect but to do it to the regulars its kinda shitty. I give 2 stars because the ladies that work there are hard working. I have never seen Mr. William do anything but plant his bum behind the counter, he even rolls his eyes and treats you like a drug addict if you want something from behind the glass cases. btw WILLIAM "I am feeling alright" not that's ANY of your business.

Cigaret Shopper in Ellsworth: avoid at all costs…read more All employees were masked, but after being inside the store for approximately 5 minutes I witnessed at least two customers enter without masks, make purchases, and leave without being asked by the multiple employees present. After watching the outside of the store for approximately 2 hours while waiting for my car to get fixed, less than half of the many, many people going into the store were wearing a mask of any kind. Upon registering my complaint with the manager, my concerns were promptly pushed aside and the only response was "Have a nice day, it's hot out". The manager neither asked for further details, took any contact information, or took any action to remedy the situation for his employees and customers (continuing to allow people to enter and browse without masks). A sad display of irresponsible practices and a demonstrated lack of interest in protecting the community: I will not be shopping here again.
