But overall it was just OK. We showed up on a Saturday morning and it was packed but they seated us quickly, which was welcome as we were starving. After looking at the menu I was slightly disappointed, as it didn't have as many vegan options as I'd hoped. We ordered two breads though. The vegan one with the lentil spread and pickles was good, but nothing spectacular. My husband ordered one of the vegetarian ones but it was out, so he got the egg one instead, which he said was also fine. Additionally, we ordered one of the oatmeals with almond milk, gluten-free oats, peanut butter, banana, nuts, cinnamon, etc. It wasn't particularly flavorful but my son liked it. As for drinks, my husband got the hot chocolate and he enjoyed it; of all the hot chocolates he had in the city, it was his favorite. The price was also pretty good. But I found the service was not particularly friendly (everyone seemed in a rush) and the food just medium.

And this was the situation: I was waiting for my sandwich, when an english speaking girl came to the counter and asked staff if anyone can speak english. A team member called from the kitchen came out to take the order. A girl ordered a meal with water to drink. Team member started assembling the meal but came back asking about the water: -"Is the water with gas or without gas?" - What?- a girl seemed confused. - Do you want gas with your water or not? - Pardon?! - Gas - You know, open and "sssss". By then I was shaking trying to stop laughing. I explained that they mean fizzy water (with gas) or still(without gas). When I got my sandwich, I left still laughing. An extra point for creative team member - even not knowing the word she was trying explain what she wanted to say:-) The sandwich was just OK (as I was hungry and in a hurry that day). Very little sauce made it feel dry . I was there just past lunch rush. Restaurant was quiet but the tables still not cleaned after lunch time. No toilet paper on toilet. Over all 2 stars for restaurant and one extra for entertainment! :-)

I was worried the food might not match the appearance... But I was pleasently surprised at the quality and flavour. The food and service was outstanding. Love the interior, attentive and helpful staff and their T-shirts :))) They have a very original menu: NYC bagels and waffels. My waffel was delicious - with salmon, avocado and cottage cheese, tomorrow I'm going to try a sweet version. I would strongly recommend this place and consider it excellent - so congratulations, Sch. Schopenhauer, 5/5 today. Any Weltschmerz here!

I had an Old School Burger. It was delicious, definitely topping many a burger I have had in the USA. I ordered it as a Bundle Deal (combo) with French Fries (chips) and a side Mixed Salad. This is a burger joint so they really only serve burgers, but it was very good food. My friend is vegan and they were happy to make changes to the menu to accommodate her. She had a very nice veggie burger and I had a goats cheese salad and burger. The customer service was very good as even though it was late we never felt rushed. In fact, we left long after they had closed and while they were cleaning and closing around us they never rushed us to leave. I was extremely happy with this restaurant as I was so hungry and really didnt want to eat at Subway!

Meals were lovely, although had areas that need slight refinement. The price was mid range for Gdańsk centre. Good live music in the evenings, but sometimes too loud. Overall a very nice place but not spectacular.
