After I had picked up some takeout for dinner, I came over to this drive-thru to use the ATM. This branch used to be across the street, on the northwest corner of the intersection, next to CIBC. I always found it interesting seeing two banks next to each other with drive-thrus. They have finally been separated. I liked the lane as you approached the ATM. It was roomy and nicely designed. There was a car in front of me. When I got to use the ATM, the experience was great. I made a cash deposit. The machine scanned my bill correctly. I had a great experience here. Rude, unhelpful and under-qualified…read more Aesthetically this is a nice branch. My family financial adviser has been working here for many years so we frequent this branch. I needed to do some investment redemptions for brother hence the visit. For context, I've worked in retail banking as a teller and advisor for many years so I have a much more critical eye. I've worked for TD Canada Trust and we've adhered to a high standard of service delivered to our clients. Anyways, the advisor that saw us (I'll keep his name confidential... since everyone needs to work) was not warm, not welcoming and had us sit in silence as he rebooted his computer. It was very awkward. Then he proceeded to tell his that he didn't get his lunch because of back to back appointments... We needed to redeem a GIC - basically child's play but he didn't know where to find the transactional breakdown of the investment and had to cal customer service. My brother tried to explain to him how to find it because he was here a week ago and the advisor kept talking over him, it was just rude at this point. I also asked him about some fee reversals that were valid and he bluntly said that they don't do that. When I said that I worked for TD and it can be done under these circumstances he said "this isn't TD". After a lot of back and forth he went to get his manager to complete our transaction and came back to say that the manager isn't in and we should go to another branch. I was livid, we just wasted 1.5 hours here with this rude and confused man. I asked for an appointment with the manager for the next day and he refused. Saying that he couldn't do that... again another request that was possible. Needless to say we left unsatisfied, unfulfilled and disrespected. I've never received such bad service from a financial advisor.

I like that you can use the drive-thru ATM without any around-the-building or strange curves that can potentially ruin the left side of your car. I don't recall ever having any issues at the ATM. It's always functional when I have needed to use it. The only downside is that once you are done with the drive-thru ATM, you have to head out on the road. If you want to shop at the other stores within the strip mall, you need to cycle back. With the bank located in a strip mall, there is plenty of parking. (15)

It's definitely a hit or miss at this TD Canada Trust. Most tellers here are super friendly and efficient - you're in and out in 5 minutes. There is one teller, however, who is quite incompetent. He does more harm than good causing me a headache each time. On the few occasions that he has helped me, I have had to return a few hours laters to fix his mistake ... i.e. I paid a loan with cash and then he took both the cash and withdrew that amount from my savings account. Hello? I don't think I owe anything to this bank ... their ludicrous banking fees they charge me are sufficient. If the tellers are dudes, I would recommend you use the ATM instead because you just might get THE guy... That being said, the dudettes who work here are all awesome.
