We ordered a pizza and a pasta for two of us. Both of them were great. I'm a fan of thin crust and this place has super thin crunchy crust. With this, you can really enjoy the topping without getting too full. And the pasta. Trofie pasta, is amazing. Why have I not ever tried it anywhere else? It's chewy and really goes well with pasta sauce. We had Calabrese sauce and it was s great. Anybody who likes sun-dried tomato should try this. Bonus* Our waiter was sweet. Even though the restaurant was crowded and I can easily imagine the stress, he was communicative and smiley. And the dishes came out quite fast. However, in the small outskirt town of Pozuelo there exist a small Italian restaurant that, in my eyes, measures up to being truly Italian. This place is authentic in its food and decor. The restaurant is beautifully decorated in an old world authenticity. With seating both inside and outside, this place offers a venue that is warm and inviting. But, with very limited seating ensure you make a reservation. The staff is very friendly and speak English if you need some help. Both our waitress and waiter helped us decipher the menu and choose the perfect lunch entrees. My wife and I enjoyed every bite of each dish. We ordered the biscotti breadsticks, the pumpkin sauce with penne pasta, and a mushroom based sauce with egg noodles. All was exceptionally scrumptious and each dish is a shareable portion (and that's coming from an American who knows about large portions). The price was right too, by the way. For the two of us with all that food and drinks we paid €45. Overall, this is a great place. The one miss for me was the service. They were great at bringing food and clearing the table but we sat with empty wine glasses for the entire meal and nobody asked us if we wanted more wine or if our food was okay. We felt slighted in that regard, but otherwise a good experience.
