The Christmas Dinner was really poor and worse than that is the fact I have written the below to the restaurant twice and had no response, I wanted to avoid making a public review but they have left me no choice by ignoring my complaint.
Good evening
I would like to tell you about our experience of Christmas dinner yesterday
Every year as a family group we eat out on Christmas Day and we have never been disappointed until yesterday.
The prawn starter had very little flavour.
The Turkey appeared to be pre sliced rather than fresh from the bird, it was swamped In The gravy with none left for the vegetables. The vegetables themselves were poor in that they were not plentiful and thrown on the plate. The Yorkshire pudding was not home made. The Turkey and all the trimmings reminded us of a school dinner in respect to the quality and presentation.
A member of our party had the lamb shank and it was dry and over cooked.
The service we received was faultless with the exception of not being offered or receiving any coffee.
One of our party went to the toilet and 2 waiting staff were laughing about a food complaint that had been received. Which made us not want to take up the offer of a replacement meal for the lamb shank, so a cocktail was asked for and turned down.
Considering we spent £75 for each meal and a considerable amount on beers, wine and cocktails we were left with a very bad impression of a restaurant we visit regularly.
Regards
