Cute casual café conveniently located by much of Brussel's artsy and royal tourist attractions! This beautiful café is remarkably spacious and open, with perpetually open giant doors / floor-to-ceiling windows, tall ceilings adorned with industrial decor, and plenty of outdoor seating that allows you to gaze out on the park. They have a good number of meat and vegetarian options, although they were strangely out of salad when my friend and I visited. She got a normal burger and I their veggie burger, and we both, of course, got a side of fries. The veggie burger was tasty, with a piece of grilled halloumi for the protein, and roasted eggplant, then fresh tomato and lettuce. It was a fun combination and felt a bit more elevated than the average veggie burger, but I felt the execution could have been better. The halloumi was quite small and a smidge overcooked, so there wasn't a lot of protein. The eggplant was also definitely overcooked and almost rubbery and dry, so it made the overall burger a bit difficult to chew. Even so, I enjoyed the combination of flavors and the fries were tasty, albeit a smidge soggy. read more
