This 13th century medieval fort village sits between Montréal and Condom on a hill overlooking grape vines, and wheat and sunflower fields. Look for the sign from the road and drive up.
Just outside the defensive walls of Larressingle is the "Mairie de Larressingle" or the city hall of this very small village. There are a few residences outside as well, and that's about it.
Walk in and you will see signs for the Tourism Office to your left, and a bar/crêperie to your right. Just behind the Château is the church which has one nice stained glass window and is quite austerely decorated. Just pews and the cross behind the altar.
We just walked around this small village and took pictures. 15 minutes and you will be done with this place. Enjoy the beautiful flowers and if you're hungry and thirsty, have a crepe and a glass of wine at the restaurant on site! read more
