Update: My partner talked me into going back to this Chuy's Oct. 13 for apps, even though I was very reluctant based on the service (or lack thereof) in September, and things went much better! We were greeted and seated right away, and our waiter was attentive and on point. The guacamole was delicious and not overly seasoned; the rich flavor of the avocado came through. The Panchos, with mixed fajita beef and chicken, hit just the right note. Good job guys! Next time, we'll try a full meal. read more

Love Chuy's. Whatever you do, save room for their tres leches. Oh my heavens! Past couple of times here were for a great work happy hour. The bar area is quite smooshed together with high top tables. Even though we had a large crowd, we never got thirsty! And the back bar in a car? Come on! That's just awesome! I went ahead and tried a frozen concoction of a strawberry and a swirl of blackberry margarita. This was hands down the best frozen (I normally don't do frozen) margarita I've had. Not quite sure how often they rotate out the flavors, but the swirls usually are awesome, as I was told and experienced. Kind of wanted a little more from an appetizer stand point. If I'm just coming in to eat, I don't order alcohol or apps. My husband enjoys their daily specials and I try a bite with his permission of course (he's better off sharing ). The plates, in my opinion are generous with food. And the creamy ranch cilantro?? Chip dip is wonderful on the taco salads. Or pretty much anything! On the weekends, I highly recommend going in a little early for lunch or dinner especially if you have 3 or more in a party. read more

I haven't been to Chuy's in a couple of years. Now I know why. The food was tasteless besides the flautas that tasted like a glazed donut with mush inside. The margaritas were like lemonade. Such a disappointing meal. Our bill for 3 was 70$. What a waste!! Not to mention the stomach issues that followed. You can definitely get better Mexican food than here. Kinda disappointed. We have been going to this Chuy's location for many years. Never had a problem. It had been over a year since we dined here because of Covid. We were looking forward to it and boy were we let down. The queso tasted "off". Did they change up the recipe or what? The service was subpar and the tacos were a bit greasy. I was in the mood for enchiladas & not knowing the area very well, I went for a drive. Though I would normally look for a mom & pop joint, again, I did not know the area and got no help from co-workers. Thus, I ended up here. Having heard good things about Chuy's & seeing a big line, I figured it was worth a try. It was. I found a nice table in the bar...always a solid move when you are solo and there's a line. First off, my server, Kelsey brought me something called Creamy Jalapeño sauce with my chips. It is amazing & worth the trip (and even checking your inner snob about not eating at chains). It carries a slight punch under an a ranch base. My frozen margarita ($5.95) was tasty & well-balanced. it was just tart enough that the salt on the rim gave it the needed punch. For my entrée, I ordered the Southwest enchiladas ($9.49). I personally love blue corn tortillas and the stacked enchilada concept. These were stuffed with pulled chicken & topped with a sunny side up egg.The sauce had a good, spicy kick from the Hatch green chilies while the refried beans and rice complemented this combination nicely. Two adjoining tables ordered the fajitas, and the portions appeared to be enormous. It is something that I would consider ordering on a return visit, which will happen for sure. Now, I really have to complement the restaurant on the sunny side up egg... This is one of the hardest things to cook in a restaurant, and in a Mexican restaurant serving dinner they got it perfect. That alone gets them four stars. The service was attentive but not overbearing... And I must complement the restaurant on this: they hire real girls of all shapes and sizes and servers at Chuy's. This earns respect points. My bill before tip for two margaritas and an entrée totaled less than $24... I find this a very good value as well as top-notch food that exceeds most chain Mexican restaurants. read more

Went with family after my son's graduation. Very disappointing. No one of us enjoyed our food. Queso was disgusting. The fajitas were greasy and bland. How do you mess those up? Margaritas were okay but way overpriced. I don't recommend eating here. Go to Taco Bell instead. read more

The reduced menu and lack of charro beans is a problem. For the price and taste there are better options. Also my server failed to bring my side of boom boom sauce and tried to charge me for it in the end. If you go get a margarita since you can't go wrong with that. read more

I got the beef fajitas. I love beef fajitas, every tex mex place I go I either get beef fajitas or some sort of taco with beef fajita meat. Good beef fajitas. The first time I came the service was honestly subpar. He walked past us multiple times when we were sat and didn't greet us, so I didn't even think he was our server. I'm a server, I understand it can be busy, but if you can't manage to at least tell your table "hey I'll be right with y'all" what's going on with you. The second time I went the service was great! My server was named Morgan, she was incredibly kind, talked to me about the menu, provided quick service, and did all this despite being very busy at the time. With some places honestly your experience may change just depending on who you get as a server. Cute atmosphere too, I like the decorations. read more

6 adults and 1 child went last Friday night. The place was crowded, which was good. Unfortunately, the food was awful all around, and service was way below par. The wait staff had a lackadaisical attitude; no one had any pep or interest in customers. We asked numerous servers for silverware, our ordered drinks, extras, and the bill. It took 30 minutes for the bill to arrive and get settled. The food was nothing like Chuy's from several years back. It wasn't good. Below average. Came here for dinner around 6pm on a Sunday...very busy so we went to the bar to wait for our table. The table was ready within 20 minutes. The waiter came by immediately with chips and salsa and took our drink/appetizer order first. Drinks came out quickly and the queso with the sirloin was really good. Going 5 stars here because three things. Customer service, food quality and prices! We are new to this area and were apartment hunting all day and was frustrated and in a bad mood. Came into Chuy's and left in a good mood! Their menu is full of a bunch of delicious choices. I was hungry so I went with the Elvis Presley platter or whatever it's called. Everything was super delicious and my margarita was on point! One thing I kept thinking was the prices were awesome. I'm like "for real I get all this food and this margarita for this?" And our server was excellent. I can't remember his name now but he was the black guy with dreadlocks and he was awesome the entire time. He was very polite to my mom and wife who was managing our newborn and that goes a long way with me. Kindness is something most people don't have these days. I am sad. The chuychanga WAS my go to meal. So....yesterday when i saw the price of 12.95 for the chuychanga, i was pleasantly surprised. Most meals have gone up sky high lately. This was reasonable. It came out. It shrunk in size. Oh ok. Well, i always had extra to take home. So maybe better portion size now, no leftovers. Oh ok. Welllllll it is now mostly fried tortilla. The interior...not much of anything in it. I think i had a few bits of chix, but prob like a tablespoon worth. Mostly crunchy deep fried tortilla. Very sad. Guess that explains the price. I would have rather had tacos or quesadillas where there was some actual meat visible...or fajitas... Lesson learned. Not sure i will go back.... read more

Panchos: special nachos loaded with beans, your choice of meat (usually get the chicken), guac, sour cream, cheese, lettuce = all on one chip??!! YES please. Great start along with the unlimited chips, salsa, jalapeño ranch they already provide for you. Jalapeño ranch is so addicting, once you start just can't stop. Chicka Chicka Boom Boom - enchiladas with your choice of meat (usually get the shredded chicken) topped with the famous and delicious Boom Boom sauce. The sauce has a nice spice/kick to it; tangy creamy spicy almost like a spicy queso; while on top of the enchiladas you might as well just mix the sauce with everything else, maybe even grab a few chips and enjoy with it!!! Great dish served with beans and rice on the side...highly recommend. The Tres Leches...man oh man do I love the tres leches here. Moist sponge cake with caramel and the three milk; amazing!!! I truly get this every time I come here! Some may say too sweet or too moist which at times I may agree, but nonetheless, one bite does no justice. Friendly and great service. The two beautiful ladies at the front also on point and went above and beyond customer service. Was trying to look for a Adult Small of the Shirt of the Month. Didn't have one in their inventory. I saw one hanging on display that looked smaller than the others and asked about that one. One of the ladies grabbed a bar stool and proceeded to take it down. I had the BEST experience tonight at Chuy's! We didn't get pictures but everything we ate was delicious. I had to send back my enchiladas but that was ONLY because I apparently can't read a menu and missed the SPICY LABEL Wade, our server, was FABULOUS!! He was timely, amazing with my munchkin! My daughter was so impressed she even insisted on this review. We started off with chips and a small queso which was the tiniest but spicy but amazing nonetheless. For main entrees, we had chicken quesadilla, custom enchiladas with chicken and hatch green chile- (later chicken with queso for a dollar more) and our daughter had kids mini burrito with beans and cheese. Everything was great, even the rice and refríes beans, which I only had because there wasn't a charro option. The hatch green Chile enchilada was AMAZING but so incredibly spicy- perfect if you don't breathe fire when you eat food like that. Tortillas on the quesadillas were delicious and fresh and the portion was great as well. We live down the street and will definitely be back! I cannot rave enough on the service though, the food was incredible but the great service was icing on the cake read more

ABOVE AND BEYOND! We ordered 4 dinners through the door dash app tonight (and many times before). Unfortunately only 3 dinners made it to the house. I called the restaurant, expecting to get a refund. I spoke with the manager on duty and he said that he would personally deliver the missing items on my order. 20 minutes later he was at my door with a smile and with the missing items from our order. When we opened the bag there was an extra yummy dessert for our troubles. We really appreciated his excellent customer service and prompt delivery. We've dined in the restaurant many times but after the pandemic we have ordered delivery. Either way the food has been delicious and they package the food well for delivery.
