Gotta brag on my gym for a minute.
Chute Boxe has been a huge part of my growth in BJJ, and I'm grateful for the people I get to learn from every week.
Professor Andre Quiles has taught me a ton since I started training there and has been in my corner coaching me through every tournament. Having a coach who invests in you, pushes you, and shows up when it matters means a lot.
And I have to give a huge shoutout to Coach James, our morning coach and a brown belt. Training with him consistently in the mornings has immensely raised my game. The details, different perspectives, adjustments, and time he puts into helping us improve have made a noticeable difference in my jiu-jitsu.
One of the things I respect most about Andre, James, and Chute Boxe as a whole is the culture. There's no ego or pressure. They actually encourage us to cross-train at other gyms, learn from different people, and bring that knowledge back with us. To me, that says a lot about coaches who genuinely care about their students getting better.
Just phenomenal coaches, great people, and an awesome environment to train in. Whether you're brand new, competing, or just looking for a solid place to learn, the vibes are always welcoming.
They've also built a great environment for the kids, and if you want to mix up the grappling with some striking, Chute Boxe has Muay Thai classes Tuesday and Thursday too.
Appreciate Professor Andre and Coach James for everything you guys have taught me and continue to teach me. Proud to represent Chute Boxe every time I step on the mats. read more
