There was no menu, so I was not sure yet what food we were going to order. I waited for my boyfriend to come back and then we both went to the bar to look at the available food. There were several cakes available, including banana walnut, red velvet, carrot cake, lemon poppy seed, and several more. There were also croissants and churros, as well as tostadas. We settled on a slice of carrot cake and a slice of the lemon poppy seed cake. The slices of cake came to our table quickly, but our server had forgotten about the coffee, as I had ordered it separately from the cake slices. She apologized and ended up not charging us for it. The two cake slices were a little expensive (€4-4.50 each) but were tasty. I was sad I could not have my cake at the same time as my coffee, since it took a while to get the coffee, but not the biggest deal in the world. The interior and exterior seating options were plentiful and aesthetically pleasing. There was also free WiFi available (password: Coffee123) and there were some people working on laptops there. In general, it was a good experience, although service could be improved. It's also located in a great area that is super walkable and close to shops, restaurants, offices, etc. I recommend checking it out if you are in the area!

Came upon this place when looking for dinner with friends. Not your typical Spanish restaurant…read more Nothing against Spanish restaurants, love them, just that this place had a menu more typical of a bistro in the States than a tapas restaurant. I had the beef tenderloin which melted in your mouth and the fried potatoes that accompanied the beef where thin sliced crisp on the outside tender on the end. Decor is very attractive and excellent for a date venue. The staff spoke little English but were very patient and anxious to please. Would dine there again in a second.

Super Friendly…read more Stopped in just before they opened to ask for directions. The associate was extremely gracious and went out of his way to work through the language barrier and help me. Later that afternoon I decided to stop by for a drink. Again, the service was friendly and hospitable. We enjoyed a local beer and a caipirinha (a sour-sweet combination of crushed limes, sugar, and cachaça rum) - so very refreshing. Our drinks were served with complimentary nuts and chips. The Copacabana is located near the cruise ship terminal and is a great place to relax and unwind.
