I tried it again about 6 months ago and have been obsessed with it! The place is super simple, chicken strips, chicken sandwich, fries and garlic bread. No 5 story high menu board that takes 20 minutes to go through. They do one thing, and they do it well. The chicken strips are always perfect, the fries golden and the garlic bread is amazing. But the big stand out? Their sauce! One little dipping cup is never enough! We fight for it! We have resorted to ordering a couple extras.

I informed Samantha we wanted to place our order separately because someone had the apt for a free sandwich. Anyhow, long story short she put all three orders together and gave us the free sandwich upon sitting down we realized out combos were charged at the full price of $12.69 and $13.49 so I asked her why were we not charged $7. 49 or so each for the sandwich plus the extra $1 each for the combos. Her answer was she only gives it to the regulars. And that we got a free sandwich. Well, we are also regulars and why would only some Get the discount when they have 3 signs inside the store and on their window. Stating $1 to make it a combo. In my book that is false advertising and bad for their business. Excuses are not good enough when there are so many others place that would compete with their businesses. I was told that the restaurant gets packed on the evenings and weekends. The staff was very friendly and I appreciated both the Spanish and English they spoke to me in! The ground beef was placed in small bread and they provided some accompaniments to dress the lonches to your liking. I really enjoyed them and hope to come back and try out more entrees in the future! Go check them out, you won't be disappointed!

However, the food is overpriced and the service we received was dismissive. There were a lot of flies inside, and we found a fly in our margarita after a couple of sips. When we brought this up to the server, no apologizes were made and it was brushed over. We were told they replaced it with a new one, but the glass we received after was the exact same level it had been previously, which we were told was due to restaurant policy. Important to note, the "full" glass we were given not even a full glass. We returned the drink due to not feeling confident in the change. Would not recommend this place, and would recommend driving out to some of the other further restaurants in the area!
