I love this place... The ladies who work there are beautiful souls who are so appreciative when I bring anything in and I have brought a lot.. lol I do so because I know that the clothing will be resold at a very reasonable price in order to help people less fortunate instead of being too highly marked up like at Goodwill and some of the other stores of a similar nature. They have a lot of stuff from clothing to housewares to holiday decor, shoes and a vast array of kitchen necessities plus some other stuff too. The best thing about the place is the feeling you'll get when you know that you're helping other people by bringing them your gently used belongings. And all proceeds go to benefit the church. Not impressed. Dust & disorganization. Only item I liked was broken. Lots of kitchen items. Small clothing selection. Kids items. Did appreciate the kind volunteer staff. NO PARKING IN LOT. Street parking on Broadway only. read more

Only church thrift store I have shopped in that charged sales tax. Good selection of items but I have never been charged tax before

I will preface this review by sharing that I was told that 100% of the proceeds go to the church, so if your intention is to support the church via donations or purchases then this is an excellent thrift store to shop. However, if you are a community member in need of a break, then this shop could be considered over-priced. I'm a disabled single mom so I fall into the latter category. There was a huge 1/2 price off everything sign on the front door. The jeans rack was marked $2, and there was a sign at the register -60% off winter coats that included a price list of the original and sale price. I found 4 pairs of pants (2 NWT) that did not have a price. I assumed they would be close in price to the $2 jeans. I was wrong. The shop manager was audibly and visibly annoyed that the volunteers had not priced the pants, especially the 2 that were new with tags. She reluctantly priced them at $20 each, honored the 1/2 off sale, and made sure to say I was getting a deal. I also purchased a coat that was priced $50. The manager quoted me $25 for the coat and then when I hesitated, she said she could give it to me for $20. Mind you, the price should have been $20 anyway due to the 60% off sale. She made it seem as if she was doing me a favor. There was no consistency in pricing across many items. I found 2 cotton knit sweaters - one priced at $20 and the other at $10; the manager repriced the more expensive one for $10. I saw an $80 bright green derby bowler hat that was not designer or custom. I found crocheted blankets some priced at $50 and others at $30 with no significant size or craftsmanship difference between the two. While I was in the store another couple was making menswear purchases and I overheard the manager adding items to their purchase free of charge. I share all that to say the pricing is very subjective at this thrift store and likely inaccessible to shoppers on a budget. read more
