I came by Ray's Tae Kwon Do recently because I was a former student many years ago. During my moves…read morethroughout the years, I lost my black belt (1st Dan) certificate and I also did not have the black belt itself anymore. So I contacted Master Ray to see if there was a way I could get replacements for both as getting a black belt is a difficult endeavor taking a lot of effort and hard work...especially when I was 10 years old when I got it. Thankfully I found out I am able to. I got fitted for a new belt and I had to fill out a form to send to get a copy. As I was there I felt a lot of nostalgia...I spent years exercising, working, sweating, fighting at the school. I felt proud of this early accomplishment and reflected on how my time at this school gave me the discipline and courage that helped me become the man I am today. This is what this school and tae kwon do teaches and provides: That with enough dedication and self confidence you can accomplish any goal you set out to do...as long as you have the drive and dedication to earn it. I owe this school and Master Ray a lot for these early lessons. He's a great man teaching an amazing school.

My son started Taekwondo after school loved it than started to pull back saying he didn't want to…read morego. My son loves all sports and loves taekwondo. After poking around alittle he openned up about one of the teacher bullying him verbally. A young girl who works as a teacher at the school. The last day at the school I picked him up from aftercare holding his tears back. My son is not one to cry for anything. I was in a deep confusion when I saw him like that. I called the school after we left and had spoken in the car. I wanted to talk to Master KM himself. As I was expressing my concerns to him he laughed at me. I dont think he meant it in a bad way but was not understanding my concern for what was going on. I realized at that point my call was not going to change anything and decided with drawl my son. At first I loved it I even wanted to get my other son in the after school program Mr. KM is a great teacher they do have 2 other teachers that work well but its not worth hurting any childs self worth. I wish them the best and hope they remember they are working with children. I would not recommend them to anyone.

This is an AWESOME local martial arts school. The instructor is great with kids, has great summer…read morecamp activities, does killer workouts for adults and has a group of athletes who are interested in competing in tournaments, National, etc. He meets the individual where they are in their training and pushes them when he sees their skills increasing. What makes this a great school is the level of training the instructor offers. Not only does he have experience in Taekwondo, but he also has experience in Karate. When you feel discouraged in working out or training, he motivates you to keep going! This school will increase your motivation to workout, learn new skills, or lose a couple of pounds in the kickboxing class for adults. Team training is in Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:00pm. Regular Taekwondo class are at 5:00pm-6:00pm, everyday. Kickboxing is at 7:00pm. Definitely give them a call and get more information.
