Severely understaffed. For the prices you pay for a birthday party, you should not have to routinely track down a staff member and then track them down again because they forgot. Also, the rules and what was included were not clearly outlined. Additionally, we had our space overwhelming invaded by kids that were not a part of the party and made it impossible for my daughter to get pictures with the mouse and dance as part of the celebration package we purchased for her and her friends. We paid for the experience and other children and adults rudely took the experience away from my child. When I spoke up, staff was too nervous to clearly state the boundaries to the other guests. The food was good. The restaurant and games appeared to be fairly clean. read more

This is the WORST Chuck E. Cheese that I have ever been too. It is dirty, the staff are rude, they use cheap ingredients and have now made it even worse...they have jacked up the prices, changed how games are played and eliminated service to the table. Good luck to any parent trying to carry their food to the table if they have more than one pizza and actually want to keep an eye on their kids. DO NOT come here if you actually want to have fun and eat good food. read more

So I never write reviews but I had to for this experience. I live in the area and visit once and a while and although it has a lot of inconsiderate visitors we overlook that for our 5 year old and how much fun he has. This last visit however, we found a card that someone dropped that had a decent amount of money on it. I took the card up to the front desk in case someone came looking for it and made mention that if no one claimed it, I would pick it back up. I returned after an hour had passed to see if anyone had claimed it. The person I originally left it with was gone and the person I got this time said there was no card and they just decommission the card if someone turns any. I was shocked and said "That is a really crappy thing to do". I left in awe that they utterly did not care at all about helping their customers. To think if someone did come looking for the card, they would have already disposed of it. I think my days at Chuck E. Cheese are done. Ill go around the corner to kokomo's next time. read more

The rat seems to be vulnerable to attacks from behind or when adjusting mask. Always eyeballing me...wherever I walk. That being said, the pizza is pretty good and the games are fairly new(ish). read more

We went for a birthday on a Saturday...it was very very crowded and complete mayhem.my daughter had a blast that's for sure.I like how they stamp your hands and your child would not be able to leave the building without you.the pizza was good.i miss the old creepy things that used to sing happy birthday. If I was to have my daughters birthday here it wouldnt be on a weekend it just seemed so rushed and crazy. Chuckie couldn't even spend any quality time with the birthday kids.to many birthdays going on at once! read more

Holy Moly this place has gone downhill. Now it has been about 5 years or more since my last visit to this location, but WOW! There are about half the number of games, and the machines now only give out 1-6 tickets! A jackpot prize means 50 tickets. Where are the days of my childhood, when I could win an armful of tickets? Apparently gone with your sanity, as you must cram 100 single tickets into the stupid ticket eating machine, and when Chuck E comes out and makes it rain single tickets, let him crouch and cram them in the slot. The prizes still cost the same amount of tickets you remember as a kid, so yes things are just getting crappier. Perhaps the establishment should just change a few business practices, rather than totally drive away customers. Anyway, I don't think I will voluntarily go back anytime soon. read more

Pretty good as far as Chuck E Cheeses go. Very friendly staff, clean store and the food came out really fast. The pizza was a little better than other locations we've been to and the salad bar had a lot of items on it. The majority of the parents were attentive to their children, which hasn't always been the case when we've gone to other locationsin the past. read more

I have been to the Saginaw, Mi location multiple times, and have never had any problems until tonight. When I arrived, there was one person working the food ordering station while there were 4 working the ticket counter. This wouldn't have been an issue, if there wasn't a line up to order food. I ordered the all you can eat salad bar (which was great), and the wait to get a new plate was horrible. Before I left my seat to get a new plate from the counter, there was one person working the food counter and 4 working the ticket counter. When I arrived to the food counter, the four people working the ticket counter were gone, leaving the food counter person to take over. That one person had to deal with a large line at the ticket counter (7-8 customers) and leave me to wait 5 minutes to get a new plate. Now the second time I went to get a new plate, there were a few more people working the counters, but still had a bit of a wait. Due to these long period of waiting I stopped at 3 plates, even though I was still hungry, which made me not feel that I had been served all that I could eat. Also, the pizza we recieved was horrible tonight. Usually we love the pizza, but tonight my wife wouldn't even touch it. Overall this experience was not a good one, I would expect a lot better service, considering this was a Saturday night. read more

I recently went to this Chuck-E-Chess( in Saginaw Michigan on Bay Rd) and I was greeted by a young lady who kid checked me. She greeted me well and was a genuine surprise to me on her kindness. This was awkward because and I did not have a child with me. I sat down and an ordered a pizza. This took some time. taking about 35 minutes till my pizza arrived. When I looked at my pizza I could tell that it was extremely thin and barely had any crust and or sauce being almost completely melted chess on a thin strip of cooked dough (I say dough because it was under cooked somehow). I asked my waiter at the time, who had the name tag of Rey, If I could get a new pizza because this one obviously was not cooked to any sort of anything, It could barely be called food. He stared at me and said nothing and went behind the counter around the prizes. I never saw this worker again till later. I walked around and noticed that there was crumbs and food everywhere around the tables and some of the video games. I played a couple of the games The three that I played were Jumping Fun, Skee-ball, and I decided the photo booth was the best last choice because the other games were gross, covered in random things such as grease, frosting, and other oddities. I finally decided to see if my other pizza was ever placed in. I walked up to the counter and was met again by the worker Rey . This time he did speak to me but asked in a very rude tone what I wanted. I asked him if he had heard me earlier when I asked for a new pizza. Once again he said nothing and walked away. I waited at the counter for around 10 minutes. He returned and said that it was put in and would be out soon. I sat down and as he stated it came out soon after I sat down, but there was something in the food. I didn't know what it was but I didn't want too. I stood up, went to the counter payed for my food and walked out. I was very displeased and appalled. This Chuck E Chess was the worst one I have ever been too I will never bring my kids here and or tell anyone it has good service at all. read more

I just went here for the first time since my childhood 25 years ago. I took my kids here. It was about what I expected. I heard the pizza was middle of the line. This was true to my experience. We ordered a normal ham pizza and bread sticks. The order came out very quickly. I was surprised by how thin the pizza was and the flavor was ok. It was nice that it was cut in smaller pieces, it made it easier for the kids to eat. Now on the bread sticks, when we ordered the cashier, who i think was a manage of sorts compared them to Little Caesars bread sticks. I did not taste the comparison. I love Little Caesars bread sticks and what I got was not really close. They were topped in Parmesan that was a little over done on top and for the amount of Parmesan on the bread I could not really taste that flavor. I tasted other Italian seasonings maybe oregano. Overall the meal was ok, nothing to really be to excited about. Chuck E Cheese came out a 3 times well we were there and danced with the kids and made it rain tickets. My kids thought this was so cool. On to the video games and simulator rides. I felt there was a good selection of games. Each of my kids has 20 tokens. They were able to play a majority of the games with this amount. 30 tokens would have probably been better. Additional tokens could easily be purchased. I was also told that most of the machines will take regular quarters. Which depending on how many tokens you buy it may just be cheaper to use quarters. For the price we paid for our tokens they each roughly cost 33 cents each. The games gave out mostly between 1 and 5 tickets. A few games had a chance for 25 or more. Photo booth is always nice and very cheap compared to other places I have been with my kids. Cashing in the tickets was a bit of a pain and a little time consuming. I had to feed them in a machine that sits very low to the ground one by one. I got down on my knees to cash in the tickets and most of the other adults cashing in tickets for their kids did as well. The prizes weren't exactly collectors items. I understand why. There was a sign there that show that 1 ticket = 1 cent. So evaluating the items they were just retail value. 1000 tickets got you a $10 prize, 500 tickets got you a $5 prize. I think the price of the toys was very fair, same as you would find at Meijer or Walmart. So really think about it what do you get for $5 or $10 anymore not much. I felt the ticket cost of the prizes was very fair. The place was pretty busy today with birthdays but what do you expect on a Saturday. I thought it was fun. All the families that I noticed were watching their kids and the kids were being respectful of everyone else. Good environment. Workers were very friendly. I think if there were maybe another worker they would have been able to keep up on the tidiness of the place a bit better. There were a few dirty tables here and there. A bit of derby on the floors in spots. Overall I expected what I received from Chuck E Cheese. I may eat before I go next time but if not the pizza will do. It's all about the games anyway, that part I found very enjoyable and would like to go back to play the games again. If I skip the food I can get more tokens next time. I would recommend this place if you want to have a good family time with young kids. When the time is right we will be back. read more

My daughter had a birthday party there a few weeks ago...our birthday party host was one of the best I've ever seen. I was a little leery having it at Chuck E Cheese's because she was turning 8 and wasn't sure if that was getting too "young" for her. Jake, our host, was energetic, overly friendly and by far, the best cast member there. I would HIGHLY recommend Jake for any parties at Chuck E Cheese's. As for the rest of the store, it was clean, the staff was friendly, and my daughter had a great time. I will admit, I think that one cast member changed my whole outlook on Chuck E's...I will definitely be returning. read more
