Don't order the Pizza! I have been here twice. I kinda get the concept, but the food bewilders me. So, it is free to get in here. I understand it is great for kids to run around, play games and mingle with other kids. However, the food is not good and salty. I ordered a 6 slice pizza for about 6 bucks. It was actually equivalent to one piece cut in 6 slices. There was only one topping, cheese. It was dry and very salty. French fries were salty and pretty much whatever. So, You spend 5 bucks on tokens for one kids (this is an estimated average). They spend it all and get the tickets and are able to turn in whatever tickets they get for a prize. In this case, 5 bucks worth of the tickets will get you a sponge bob sticker worth about a nickle. I know this place is cheap and a place to take kids for birthdays. There are others and this is why I post. 1. There is a Pirate Pizza place near Disneyland. It is about the same cost but the food is better. 2. Goofy's Kitchen at Disneyland has ok food and the kids get to meet the Disney Characters. 3. Ariel's Grotto: Great place to take little girls. They get to meet the princesses. The downside of this place is that you have to purchase a ticket to get into California Adventure. This can be costly, but is a great way to celebrate a girl's birthday. 4. The local park. 5. Irvine Park off of Santiago. They have pony rides, horses, a zoo, park, a train, a pond. This place will cost you minimal. Much less than chucke cheese. And, it is great for big parties. You can bring food or bbq it here. You can also arrange with the park to have group discounts and even a bounce house. Way more fun. Out of all the above, I would suggest Irvine Park over this place. read more

My youngster loves the 45 minute pass and it's only 40 bucks. He gets unlimited games which is worth it for me to see his excitement and watch him burn off some energy. He loves to dance on the dance pad. They sell maybe 3 kinds of beer and it's pretty expensive. The pizza is better than it used to be when I was kid. This location is very clean though some of the games are constantly in disrepair. The spider game, the falling ball catch game and sometimes the basketball game are sometimes out of service but overall we always have a fun time. Also, they're very careful to monitor who is coming in and out so we feel safe if he runs off to the other side quicker than we can run. Overall, I'd recommend this place for a nice little sesh. read more

We took the kids out and everyone had a great time. The food is definitely a good value for what you pay for (high quantity, and decent quality), and came out pretty quick especially considering how large our order was. There was a fun variety of games as well (both modern touch-screen and old-school games from before I was a kid), so lots to choose from. It was tricky to get used to how the gaming credit point system worked, and a couple machines "ate" my points along the way. The Chuck E. Cheese musical show was a little lackluster too - the full band isn't here (just Mr. Cheese himself in a solo performance) and the speaker system makes it hard to hear unless you're very close to the stage. read more

I had a birthday party for my son and when we arrived nothing was set up yet and when asked they didn't even have his correct info and the wrong age on the table. We were only given 1 table for 25 people only one section was decorated we had to ask for everything and we forgot a few items until we saw them set up for the next party and when brought to the manager's attention she just asked if I had already paid and proceeded to say what do you want me to do about it. This is by far my favorite location! We come here about once a month and just had my daughters 4th birthday here. We had Lucy as our party hostess, she's super friendly she went above and beyond to make us have a great time. Deric was the manager and he made sure we had everything we needed at all times. How to survive Chuck E. Cheese! I just need Ice Cube to do the vocals now..... CEC without a doubt falls into the dreaded "set your expectations" category- know what you are getting into, so you aren't disappointed. We all know the place will be understaffed-walking in that was apparent, as it seemed everyone had numerous responsibilities, the same person who was cleaning the tables was also getting kids prizes. You definitely have to have your patience hat on! We know the food isn't the best. My advice is to eat before heading over and let the KIDS eat the food! We did order a combo platter with breadsticks, wings, and veggies for $10, it was enough to hold everyone in an attempt to avoid eating too much at the restaurant. If you are going to do a kids birthday party, I would attempt to bring in as much in as possible to save $. I observed several parties, and the kids looked happy, and the staff brought over "Chuck E. Cheese" over several times to mingle in with the minions. I will admit I was disappointed to see that this location didn't have the creepy robotic puppets on the stage that I was so accustomed to see as a kid, it's all on a TV now. I also noticed the multiple hand sanitizer locations all over restaurant. While I hope I never have to eat their food again, I would definitely consider CEC when planning a party for my kid. I bit down on a STAPLE in my food!!!!! I had the salad bar, and got a little extra surprise. Then I had to spend the next 30 minutes trying to get a refund which was just ridiculous. My four year old loves "chuckucheese". Came in on a Thursday which was great. Not a lot of people. Pizza is pretty bomb. Got a good deal with the coupon. Now the boneless wings. Those need a lot of work. For a small order at $10.99 I underestimated how small it would be. In my opinion if it even matters is it's a tiny order. It looks like we ate some but we didn't. Horrible experience. The place was filthy. Part of our order was the mozzarella sticks and they came out cold on the center. I returned them and 15 minutes later I went back to the counter to ask for a refund. After a few minutes the manager said ok give him seven bucks. The price was $6.99 plus tax. I said wait a minute you need to refund the tax too. Several minutes later they figured the total refund would be $7.54. When we got there, Janelle was very efficient in getting us checked in and placing the food order for our party. I may have been harsh in my first review. I went to this location again with my family last night, and granted, they were not very busy for a Friday night so that may have helped my view since I'm not so much into crowds. Yes, the tables stay covered with leftover food for hours, however I understand why-- people get up from their tables and play, and come back, etc. Staff could easily pick up people's unfinished food/ clear a table still in use if they were to clean up as soon as a table were abandoned; and they've probably been berated for it. Suggestion: maybe if they had cards to display on the table which alerts staff that a party is finished, or if they're going to be coming back, it might help alleviate that problem a tad(if guests were to use it).. Anyway, We had a great time; their pizza has really been amped up from what I remember. And staff were super helpful, friendly and attentive. If we want a night out indoors again, I'd give it another shot. read more

I had a good experience yesterday. My wife and I had the t-mobile tuesday deal. so large pizza with $5 game card (which is just 15 tolkens). This was a great deal. The bad: 1) they don't have cups for water. You need to pay for bottled water at $2.50. I think if you're gonna drink alot, then just pay for the small drink which is also $2.50. (or bring in a bottle of water.. well until they stop you from doing that.. but I doubt it). 2) Sadly, they had the video running and there was a countdown for the mouse to come out and throw tickets.. but... but... no chuck e cheese that evening. The good: 1) Did I mention they had the t-mobile tuesday deal? But even without it.. you can get like a 1hr play card for around $15-20 with their coupons. I think you can easily get your money's worth in unlimited play. The pizza's at chuckee cheese can be pricee at $16 for large. 2) The pizza was surprisingly decent. My kids loved the cheese. If it's frozen pizza, they're doing a great job with the cheese. Typically with frozen pizza the cheese will burn pretty easily, but the cheese was so cheesy. 3) Games are pretty affordable. Terminator game is 2 tolkens..so roughly 66 cents. As I mentioned before.. with the $5 card you get 15 tolkens.. or roughly 33cents a tolken. Use the website coupon for $20, and you get 100 tolkens instead (about 20cents a tolken). Again, you can roll with 30 min or 1hr time unlimited play which is imo the best deal. Don't go on weekends and fridays.. it's probably crazy busy! Oh yea, the day we went there was no chuck e cheese mouse to dance and throw tickets. The onsite worker.. derik was awesome still.. he talked to our children and apologized and even gave us a voucher for some tickets. Thank you. read more

I'm surprised at the negative reviews. Recently, we spent my 6 year old cousin's birthday here. It was Saturday afternoon, on the 4th of July and the place was nice and empty. Service was great, and more importantly, the pizza was much better than before. It seems they improved their pizza recipe cause the crust was light and crispy, with a good amount of toppings too. I believe we were all pleasantly surprised. Heck even the salad bar wasn't bad at all. We had the pepperoni, combination, meat lovers and chicken /alfredo pizzas. All were pretty damn good. Oddly, however, the kids pizza had a different crust, and was more reminiscent of the brand's old recipe. There are lots of games suited for kids of different ages, and as always, they spit out tickets for redemption of random trinkets and things. read more

Weekdays, 11 am-3 pm, 5.99 AYCE pizza and salad for adults, $3.99 kids 3 and over. What a deal! Last Tuesday I visited this CEC, and it was clean, well-maintained and rather quiet. I was so impressed! Like the 405 fwy, congestion turns a nice experience into a miserable hellhole, but wow, what a difference when traffic's light! There was a game attendant there the whole time, testing and fixing games. When a game ate my token, he quickly helped and gave me a new one. The ticket machine jammed while eating my tickets. I asked an employee for help and was quickly assisted. I don't mind when things go wrong- what else is life, if not imperfect- but I did appreciate how quickly these little snafus were resolved. I'll be coming during the day more often, while my little one isn't in school. I have been at this CEC when there are a bunch of kids roaming around; of course that's not as ideal, but no reason to rate the place any less, IMHO. We decided to take our 10 year old to Chuck E Cheese's for some good old fashioned arcade fun. We did have fun. We spent about $50 on tokens, a medium pepperoni pizza, two drinks and a salad bar. The food was alright...I expected less. The customer service at this location could use some serious help. Several times, the games jammed and did not dispense tickets. It was hard to find someone to assist with this, and I had to wait in long lines each time. It seems a little less exciting than it was in my youth. The animatronics have been removed except for Chuck E. and there was no show going during the hours we were there on a Saturday afternoon. About 10% of the games were out of order. read more

I booked a party and got there 30 minutes early instead of 15 minutes as suggested, since I knew it would be packed (Saturday). When it came to the time of my party, the balloons were not set up and there was no tables covers. Would I have known I would have brought my own but the employees told me they would supply them. (I literally had to ask for everything) Be carful booking a party! I purchased the ultimate party package for my son, which includes 2 slices per kid and 2 large pizzas for adult. For adults I got a Medium pizza which I had to pay to upgrade to large. I NEVER received the 2 slices per kid so I had to purchase another 2 large pizzas. They also bribe you with extra tickets if you leave them a good review. So don't believe the good reviews. They do anything to make there money they lost during pandemic. read more

Brought my nephew and niece to this location only because I didn't have the fast pass thing for the location in South OC. I refuse to pay money to travel on a freeway, at least my own money. So we came to this one instead. It was empty when we got here at 11am. Used 2 coupons, which totalled out to be about $40 and got us 2 drinks, a small cheese pizza, and 160 tokens. The pizza was like cardboard - you're better off eating at Little Caesars first before coming here, at least the pizza pizza there is only $5. This is not the place you want to go. My sisters and I came with a two and a half year old, a one year old, and six year old. First and foremost, we walked in exceptional service from the older lady at the door. Friendly and charismatic, giving us advice on the area and just overall welcoming. Great way to start off this fiasco. My one year old nephew climbed on a booth that was left dirty with a beer left behind!!!! He got into the beer and was playing putting his hands in it; like any one year old would. When my sister told the young lady at the front about the beer and incident she told her, " oh well, he's about to get turnt up." This is not something you tell a worried mother of two when she tell you that he got into a alcohol because an employee didn't take the initiative to keep the vicinity clean. We order almost $70 dollars worth of food and paid $10+ dollars for boneless chicken wings. Mind you, when we walked in there was maybe on the heavy side approximately 4 other families here. We waited over an hour for our food and by the time we received the wings they were cold, hard, and just gross. When we asked to please put in fresh wings the same lady that said the unprofessional comment brought out THE SAME DAMN WINGS WE JUST GAVE HER!!! (See picture attached) they were hard as rock and just plain disgusting. There is few games overall for the children to play on. The ambience is not what an establishment for children should be. Chuck doesn't even try to connect with the children when he comes out. The food is a disaster, if you want to have a good time and at least semi decent food, DON'T COME HERE!! This was my first time at Chuck E. Cheese and I'm so glad I ended up going there last minute. I was really hungry and also wanted to take the kids to the park so I thought to give this place a try. I ordered myself a pizza (delicious and thin and crispy) and a beer plus bought 2 hours of unlimited play for $40 which I found to be well worth it. My kids absolutely loved running around and trying every single game and I loved that the photo booths were included cus I got myself like 8 pics with my kids. Every single person working there was great and courteous but especially Owen. That young man is very aware and considerate. As we were leaving 2yo was upset because a big party walked in with dinosaur balloons that he obviously couldn't have. Owen saw an opportunity to very easily turn a moment around and quickly came to the rescue with two Chuck E. Cheese balloons that my kids have not stopped playing with since yesterday. This location needs management! There are employees everywhere just meandering, chatting, or hiding. Tons of tables need to be cleaned off so new people can sit and eat. The bathrooms are so gross. There is visible old urine on the floors, I can hear my shoes sticking to the floors. Trash cans are over flowing, no hooks on the door to hang your purse. And the front area is about a 20 minute wait just to place your order and pay, and the place is not even packed. Some of the games don't give out tickets when they're supposed to. Lots of games were out of order. And Chuck E came out for 3 minutes in 3 hours. And after hearing what 95.5 KLOS FHF said, I'm not so sure how I feel anymore.. read more
