This year I ordered the Vegetarian Combo, The Combo Dinner and 4 desserts. Most of the food went home to share with the family. I sat under the tent, to have my meal and listen to music...it was a beautiful spring day. The Combo was Chicken Souvlaki, Pastichio, Moussaka, rice and a small Greek salad. I ate the chicken Souvlaki and it was moist and beautifully seasoned. The Greek salad was fresh with lettuce, tomato, cucumber,feta and kalmata olives. I also tried the eggplant dip, stuffed grape leaves, large beans in tomato sauce and pita bread. Everything tasted freshly homemade and perfectly seasoned. I got baklava, rice pudding and 2 other delicious flaky, creamy pastries.

I will say this: the people here are AMAZING. The congregants overall, especially the women who do…read moreso much with little complaints, are a major highlight. They hold the church down. I was a paid staff leader for the children around 2014-2015. One thing I will say is that Gary Norman is a creep. He came up behind me when he was passing out brochures and slipped one in my back pants pocket and kept his hand there for a period of time. I had to pretend it wasn't happening. But what really makes the place horrible and unbearable is the lead pastor Louis Giordano's angry outbursts and outright emotional and mental abuse. I worked closely with him and can name you multiple instances of when he snapped at us as the staff. I asked him a question about the buddy barrel for the kids and he snapped at me. I asked him about a trip he went on and he snapped at me. He loved overstepping my boundaries and even went so far as to eat off of my plate when it clearly made my uncomfortable. his wife had to tell him not to do that. He opened a yogurt and a little bit of it got on his suit or tie before service and I giggled playfully because it was not a big deal and he snapped at me. He is treated like a god there, and he sure acts like it. He is a horrible person and the day he leaves will be the day this church sees brighter days.
