This place changed my life. Progressive and holistic. Trauma-informed care. Amazing people that…read morereally care about you. My healing journey was a dire situation and when I decided to seek help finally, it was a TOTAL disaster for two whole years until I found Alleviant last July. I had done the new patient process at many different behavioral health operations all over Summit County. It is sad to say, but only one of the dozens I completed an assessment intake with mentioned trauma to me - and looking back at those times, I was LITERALLY the poster gal for complex PTSD. This is a widespread concern I've found out, and it's a serious problem in the system here. The lack of trauma education and acknowledgment by mental health professionals ultimately results in patients believing, once again, that THEY are the problem. So opposite of what should happen. I hope PTSD-informed care awareness becomes a priority for the sake of all those suffering. Luckily, Alleviant has embraced this neglected concept. For example, every Tuesday evening there is a women's trauma support group run by my clinician, Sarah. Sarah is a big deal in the behavioral health community around here- and has been my inspiration to turn things around. The entire Alleviant crew has been so kind and accommodating to my particular issues. They really want to see their patients heal, which is proven by their actions and the energy there in general. I could go on and on about how unique Alleviant is but it's more important anyone reading this takes that courageous step and gives them a call. If you don't click anywhere else you will most likely click here. I have tried all their services - ketamine infusions, psychiatry, and TMS; in addition to weekly counseling and EMDR sessions (intensive treatment for PTSD). The ketamine acted as a huge reset button on the mind, body, and spirit - no matter how lost you may feel, you CAN be brought back. The TMS treatments (completed 6 out of 38 so far) are slowly decreasing my long-term medication resistant depression. What a truly remarkable and exciting thing! Will update when I am further along with the EMDR sessions. If you feel like giving up, give it another gander because the grass IS greener with a stable, healthy mind. Alleviant has saved my life! The future is bright.

Walking in, the setting is calming and puts you at ease. Statues of Buddha, plants, and other Asian decor fill the space. Each private room has soothing, zen music playing during your treatment. Christy takes the time to get to know you, figure out what will help you, and explain the plan. Her knowledge is so extensive! The table includes a heating mat and cushions and she has a heating lamp for your feet so you don't get cold. I'm a bit squeamish around needles, but she's very skilled and gentle, so I'm actually okay with it. Acupuncture has been super helpful for me and I'd recommend Innerchi to anyone! Scheduling is easy with online booking and she has late hours twice a week. I'm also keen to try out the other services she has. I've had the moxabustion and cupping done here as well and found them very helpful.

I just wanted to leave my review about my experience with the counseling center wooster office. I…read morehave been going to the counseling center for the last 15 years I left that place in July 2025 and over the years my doctor had me on over 10 different medications for my bipolar I was way over medicated I found a new doctor in Fairlawn ohio and she could not believe the cocktail of medications that I was prescribed to me. My new doctor really cares about my mental health and I'm only on 3 new medications now and doing very well. I just felt like the doctor at the counseling center did not care about me at all she just kept adding new medictions all time and I just got tired of her poor services. I don't advise anyone to seek help at the wayne and Holmes County counseling center the doctors just want to over medicate their clients.

It was through her work that we figured out I needed back surgery ( which really helped). After that she has helped me to readjust my muscles from years of overcompensating for my back issues. She is kind, caring, and willing to learn more about something to improve her patients care. I highly recommend Lisa as a massage physical therapist (and helps with the metaphysical if you are into that as well. )
