I'm grateful for experience with Vickie as she cleaned my teeth. The office staff took care of the insurance and that within itself is worth a ton, to me. Most offices won't file Medicare but will file dental insurance. Dr Dunlap was very kind and friendly and everyone was great.

No cursing, just asking them simple questions, that wouldn't ordinarily anger anyone. But Dr Dunlap is very good, and the rest of the staff is nice. So I'm thinking that they just have a problem with me. I should be able to tell Terry my dentures hurt without her snapping at me, and tell me everybody else's is fine. But mine not. Dr Dunlap wife said out loud I owed money in front of patients and staff. When I really didn't. Cause I always told them up front if anything has to be done and insurance don't cover it, don't do it. Well the bottom one wasn't made right he had to send it to a different lab. Not telling me my insurance wouldn't cover it. So after she blurted that out I wasn't charged. And the wife wrote a letter telling me not to come back, I take that as being hateful of her. I wasn't going where I wasn't appreciated any way. I feel it's only certain people they talk to any kind of way. I guess they didn't want to redo the denture that still is a problem, they weren't done properly,and they've shaved them down so much you can almost see thu the denture. For years, I had dental insurance through my wife's job, but she lost her job several years ago and it had been 3-4 years since my last dental check up. I recently started a new job, which offers dental insurance and, after loosing a crown and a couple fractured teeth over a year ago, set an appointment with Aspen Dental. From the time I called to set up the appointment, I was very impressed with everyone's professionalism and making me feel at ease with the entire process. After my initial oral assessment, I was introduced to the office manager who gave me up-front costs, broken down to the littlest detail. There was no pressure to do all repairs at once, they actually offered to break each item needed into separate visits to make it less painful on the wallet. I opted for all repairs and scheduled my appointment. A very pleasant first experience!

You get free xrays, then gums examined, then dentist does a quick peep, then you are presenting a 12,000. bill, signed up for Care credit. Highly pressured to sign on this, even if you repeatedly say you need to think about it or cannot afford it. Left in pain for days without a callback from the emergency call line to get additional pain meds after extractions. I kept being told, someone would get back to me. My ENT can verify, bc I needed help so badly. The next week, the dentists asked if anyone got back to me! So, he knew about the calls for help. My denture experience was horrible. Non fitting for 8 months and refused my final set. Front office tried to say I hadn't already paid on care credit in full!! I had the walkout statement and my cc is fo. They don't know how to read their own statements. Turnover is constant. Goal oriented business where Care is not considered. They make patients feel stupid, crazy, when they don't even know what the other is doing. Go ahead, go. You will regret it.

UPDATE: this office is scamful with billing, proceed with extreme caution!…read more I was referred to this clinic by Pelham oak dental and the appointment was set a whole month in advance, the office verbally told me my insurance would pay 40-60%. So between two clinics I thought they checked my insurance BUT they did not check my insurance, and only after the fact I found out my insurance only pays 25% or so! And they are very forceful with the billing. It was almost $1800 for the root Canal, and now I face a bill of $1300! All this could have been avoided if they actually checked my insurance!
