It was a father and son team of sorts - so it was easy to use them both for care. This is a pretty small facility, about 4 rooms and a very friendly staff. It is great to know everyone that works there, and everyone knows you as well. Very easy to contact the front desk to move or make appts. The place is nice, and you get to admire the Doctors beautiful antique glass collection in the lobby. Last time I was there, it looks like they were having a crew come in to do some upgrades. The care I receive is great. The hygienists are super nice and friendly, gentle, and I have to say, I really don't mind going to the dentist. They also don't push you for extra services or try to sell you anything. It is a very comfortable facility. I have never needed more than a cavity filling here so I can't speak on much more than that. My father did switch dentists years ago due to some issues with diagnosing a mouth pain he had, so there was an issue there, but I can not recall the details. Overall, I would suggest Kabinoff as a reliable, comfortable dentist to visit if you are looking!

This may be surprising to some, but I'm not a tough guy. I spent most of my life cavity free. Then some time in my late 20s I had a really bad experience getting a few cavities filled. Actually they were my first and last cavities. That is until recently. Dr. Cummings numbed me up and it was done before I knew it. Can't say I'm an expert on getting fillings. And I can't say that I'm eager to get another one. But I am very glad that the one I needed was not traumatic.

Not for Robert Cummings himself - he has exceptionally gentle hands, is communicative and responsive, no issues with care at all. He's the reason I return. Moreover, the reception/appointment staff are really first-rate and friendly. BUT: the hygienists are far from gentle and patronising (that's the worst aspect); there is a strong tendency (in my opinion/experience) to recommend work that may not be needed (for example, two prior fillings "show cracks and need redrilling urgently" - well, that was a year ago and still no problem, thanks); and the place is rather run-down, with no distraction (TV, or even pictures to look at) during the time in the chair. Not terrible, but no reason to really recommend.

The tooth, a molar, had…read morealso been corrected by braces a few years back in my early 60s; when I was a child it had come in "sideways" (not even touching the tooth below) and it took quite a bit of "coaxing" to straighten it, to say the least. Prior to my visit I had seen another endodontist two years earlier, who recommended crowning the tooth, which had been chronically sensitive, due, in his opinion, to a likely small crack in the tooth itself (not the root). He did not think the root was affected. My dentist crowned the tooth, but the problem persisted, and my dentist again referred me to an endodontist, and this time I saw Dr. Ghandi. Dr. Ghandi listened to all of this and gave me her opinion that "no root" could likely survive the trauma of being forced as it had been to straighten it, I'm sure because I'd had braces many decades after the tooth emerged. She recommended a two-step root canal, first to remove the dead root, and then to pack it with an antibiotic for a month before finished the procedure. We did that, and in fact the root was dead and infected, with some bone loss. However, she is reasonably confident that the tooth can be saved (from extraction), although it may take some time for the longtime sensitivity to fade. Time will tell. Dr. Ghandi is a true professional. She listens well, considers what you say, explains her opinion clearly, and tells you step by step, in a considerate way, what she's doing to your tooth as she proceeds. She may have saved my tooth, which apparently was not ideally managed earlier (although she avoids any criticism of other practitioners; just gives her opinion going forward). Her staff is also polite, efficient, and obviously competent. Oh, and if you call with a question or problem following the procedure (I had some pain, not surprisingly, after step one), she absolutely will call you back at the end of the day (and prescribed antibiotics, in my case). I recommend her and her office without reservation.

She was reported to our insurance company and now that we see she is still in practice we need to file more serious complaints when we have time. There were very serious complaints with 1 visit and 2 people. Her behavior was beyond scary and we still have the records of everything. Including what came out of her mouth! This person, who somehow is allowed to practice, tried to convince a man to pull perfect teeth without crowded teeth, disease, or reason. In all my life I never had a dentist that I looked forward to the visit. That all changed when Dr. V took over the office. I have had three crowns replaced and they are still going strong and fit perfectly. He uses the strongest materials and does not use metal. He is very attentive to your needs and always makes sure you are completely numb in the area he works on. He checks constantly on your comfort level. This is an incredible practice and I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Doriot…read more I am tremendously afraid of the dentist and didn't have my wisdom teeth removed as a teenager because they weren't causing me pain. When a tooth recently cracked, and I wanted to get a crown on it, I needed to have an impacted wisdom tooth removed so the crown could sit properly. Not surprisingly, my dental anxiety showed up immediately and in full force the moment I found out I was going to have to have not one, but three wisdom teeth removed. And this was after having a preventative root canal performed on the tooth that needed a crown. So a root canal, then the removal of three wisdom teeth, and then crown - proof that all bad things come in threes! Or. So. I. Thought. I went into my appointment today at 8 am and by 8:20 am the procedure had begun and by 9:30 it was finished. The person who recommended Dr. Doriot to me had all four of his wisdom teeth removed by him as well and said he never felt any pain during the recovery period. I thought this was perhaps a small exaggeration, after all, how can they rip teeth out of your head and have it be painless...especially after the drugs wear off. But, surprisingly, this was exactly my experience as well. I am writing this review about 12 hours after the procedure and I feel such indescribable relief due to having the procedure completed and being in no pain at any point in the process. The cherry on top of this perfect dental experience? Dr. Doriot called me on my cell phone a few minutes ago to ask me how I was feeling and to answer any questions I had about future dental care (of which I had many). I thanked him for the kind gesture and he said that he "can't sleep until he knows his patients are doing well." It is so readily apparent how much Dr. Doriot cares about both his patients and the quality of his work. In a world shifting to tele-health and requiring that doctors track their time in the way that lawyers handle their billable hours, Dr. Doriot is a refreshing throwback to a bygone age when the primary concern of medical practitioners was more about the patient experience rather than the vice grip placed on them by complying with the never-ending requirements placed on them by most insurance companies today. TL;DR: Had three wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Doriot 12 hours ago. I am a big baby, at no point was in any pain at all (fingers crossed) and Dr. Doriot called me personally to check in and answer any and all questions I have. I've seen Dr.  Bayoumy as a patient a few times now and he's been phenomenal. So when my son needed a specialist to check his wisdom teeth I didn't even hesitate at requesting a referral for Dr. B for him as well.  Unfortunately, with my own appointments and now my son's, the office staff has dropped the ball too many times. Focusing only on the current issue with my son; not only did his dentist have to send the referral twice to even get them to schedule the appointment in the first place, the day after confirming his appointment (almost a month after making the appt) I received a follow up confirmation text for a completely different appointment time. When I called to ask why I was getting a confirmation text for a different time, I was told "I don't know, do you want the new appointment, or no?" completely dismissing my inquiry as to why nobody called me to request or confirm the reschedule. As to not further delay him getting checked, I agreed.  Less than 24 hours later, at 7:30am the day of the appointment, I received a text asking if I had a copy of the referral. I explained that I did not, because it was sent directly before they would even let me schedule the appointment in the first place. I was then told they didn't have it and would "try to get it" before his appointment that I've now had to take a whole day off of work for. I'd had this happen at my original appointment which delayed my appointment by almost a week so I told them to cancel the appointment.  I've been a medical receptionist for 3 years. This is not only inconsiderate, but honestly just flat out poor patient care. Again, Dr. Bayoumy is amazing, which is why I've tolerated the consistent incompetence by office staff in regards to insurance, scheduling, and communication, but I'm afraid we will be seeking care elsewhere.  I'm sure losing one or two patients won't hurt you guys (not my intention), but as previously stated, as someone who works in healthcare, it's careless and just disappointing.
