I searched and found NOLaSole as a provider. The receptionist was very friendly on the phone and set my appointment. When I arrived the office was very clean and the staff very courteous. My wait was only about 10 minutes. Ari did my initial intake she made me feel very comfortable and she even laughed at my dad jokes, that's a good sign. She was also very personable while yet professional. Dr Taylor was very professional and not condescending, as a slightly overweight diabetic some doctors can make you feel kind of embarrassed but he did a great job, he had a great bedside manner. He explained each procedure as he performed it and advised me as to what needed to be done to have better foot health. I was so pleased with this staff that I scheduled an appointment for my wife to be examined, and yes I like her. I would highly recommend NOLA Sole to anyone needing foot care.

The office manager came in and said she needed to take X-rays but that I need to just leave, saying she heard the whole thing, taking her side, more gaslighting. She went to speak to the doctor came back and said I need to leave, "not a good fit". I'm still shaking.

Flashback 6 months and I would have never dreamed that I would need to see a podiatrist, as I never…read morehad foot problems in my life. But with some recent foot issues, specifically the development of two (2) corns on my right foot and one (1) on my left foot, I knew something had to be done; as it was beginning to affect my gait. I opted not to try over the counter remedies and immediately sought professional help. Since I am an Ochsner Medical Center aficionado, I went to their website and looked up the bios on podiatrists. I usually try to schedule an appointment with the Chairperson of the department, but this particular doctor was no longer accepting new patients. I was referred to Dr. Giang "Jane" Nguyen and got an appointment the following day. Not knowing if my shoes were the issue, I brought all 3 pairs of work shoes, as well as my running shoes to my initial visit. Dr. Nguyen, who goes by Jane, and not Giang, was very personable immediately upon entering the room and her excellent bedside manner quickly put me at ease. It only took her a minute to see the issue and she took her time to explain the difference between a corn and a callus. She inspected my shoes and stated that they were not the issue. She spoke in layman's terms and advised me that she was going to remove them. The procedure involved no anesthetic, as the corn is dead skin. She simply used a scalpel and carefully made a small cone shaped incision to actually cut out the corn as if she was coring an apple. The relief was immediate. She prescribed a prescription lotion to apply that is actually softening the remaining skin, as dry skin is a promoter of corns and calluses. Although this is a lot of personal information, I just wanted to Yelpers to benefit from my experience. Bottom line is that there is no reason to put off a visit to the doctor; especially a podiatrist; as you will be reminded of your particular ailment with every step you take. Dr. Nguyen gets nothing but praises for me. She was prompt, courteous, professional and understanding. She took her time and made me feel like I was her star patient for the day. If you have a foot issue and need a podiatrist, give her a call.

His disposition upon entering the exam room was very disrespectful and incredibly rude. He's telling me I need to see an ortho specialist when the problem is tissue related. Extremely incompetent. I'm telling him what's wrong but he's not even listening. He came in the room with a bad attitude. He's supposed to be the specialist and asking me more stupid questions about the condition of my foot when I just told him. I'm like that's why I'm here. Why don't you order the MRI and do the necessary procedures to find the problem?? He's clearly a bandaid "doctor" who has no knowledge in researching medical problems. His attitude was so poor, I asked if he was having a good day because I didn't want him to touch me with his nasty attitude. He took off his gloves and walked out of the room and I was right behind him. He's a VERY NASTY NEONATE OF A MAN and has an ugly personality to match his face. AGAIN!!! Stay away from this jerk. Oh and I meant to say he threw my chart in the chest of the nurse Crystal while he was walking out of the room and she looked shocked as did I. This neonate IS NOT caring as the office manager commented on another person's review. He needs mental help and an exorcism.
