I am honestly disappointed in the response that I had received for my inquiry. This firm had…read moreassisted in me getting my 100% and the VA refused to give them an explaination as to why the agency took most of my retroactive pay without justifiable cause or due process. The VA not only deleted my representation file and I had to resubmit, but after the VA had blown them off repeatedly, they closed my case and did not charge me. This I do appreciate. Well to fast forward to 12/30/2020, after I had to advocate for myself after being very mistreated by the agency and the liason's crude remarks to these congressionals, it was found after I pushed for an audit and hearing that the VA indeed took my retroactive pay without due process and they could not find that I had this debt in question. But the VA gave no remedy other than I am 100% when they took almost $1200.00, which part of it was supposed to go to CCK for their assistance. I am in the position now that my brain lesions have been undiagnosed and categorized as idiopathic when I have more than 20+ lesions scattered all over my brain. There is two GAO reports with one stating that I was in a highly toxic and hazardous environment when I was deployed and burn pits. The other report was stating that the VA has been researching Gulf War Illness aka Chronic Multisymptiom Illness and found that over 25% of gulf war veterans post 9/11 to current have returned with structural damage to their brains and white matter brain disease. This information is also under the VA.gov website updated july of this year with their findings being posted in July 2017. There is also an NIH report stating the same thing, yet I have been picked, prodded, and used as a guinea pig, now receiving elevated care for the agency's apparent negligence to us veterans. I have been recently denied again and filled out a NOD. The VA also has stated in my email that I received that they are extending disability claims if conditions have worsened that were previously denied under Gulf War Syndrome to 10 years back. I have been calling attorneys in hopes of getting the justice that I and many other veterans deserve and their families for that matter because brain diseases have taken so many veterans that have served in theatre and they die fighting and devastating families. My condition that has been said to be idiopathic has outside physicians concerned that I see now since I have moved out of my last state that I resided. Both conditions are not good. They lead to strokes (which according to these conditions, I am in the age range) and early onset dementia. They are working hard to get a diagnosis so they can treat me before whatever this is is too late. What disappointed me with CCK is that I received a call back and expressed my concerns. They said that they have helped me with the maximum and all they could do is to refer me to the DAV. I am not a member of the DAV and they have not handled my claims since 2016. With this new information that they can look up themselves, can help so many veterans and it was tossed aside and I needed to regroup myself and fight back tears. My son moved home from Washingtons State to Georgia because he is concerned about his mom and I have been struggling, in the hospital and intermittinly falling more than usual. I will find another attorney that cares about veterans, all veterans and are able to keep up with the new developments that the agency is admitting to under a bunch of website sub-categories with veterans still fighting for their benefits and trying to avoid malpractices that some areas of the agency has made. This is beyond a VSO and leaves veterans like me hopeless or 22/day. Shame on you for disgarding veterans like trash for profit. Just say that it is too complicated for you to win. I would have appreciated that response better than things that I already know and tried. Unless the agency is made accountable, I guess that you will never be out of business pretending to care about disabled veterans needs.

This is the worst firm ever. Not only the intake girl but the fact that they make you jump through…read morehoops before they decide if they will even represent you. I have dealt with hundreds of law firms as a mediator and this is by far the worst in the country.
