Sam, Cheryl and Brendan have helped us when we have stopped by and they are Awesome. We appreciate their patience in helping us choose plants that fit our needs. Our experience with everyone @ Garden City has always been great, customer service is top notch. We bought a kitchen range/stove online from Home Depot on May 22nd. The men came today to install…read moreit on May 30th BUT they didn't recognize the kind of gas cut-off that we have so they told us we had to have a plumber come to put a cut-off on the line before they can proceed. The plumber just left to the tune of ~$100 and showed us the cut-off that was there all along. We had him go ahead and disconnect our old range so that the space would be ready for the new one. Just called and they can't come back until June 11th!! GAH!!! We have a gas range that is now totally unfunctional and a brand new one sitting in our den waiting to be hooked up. This is super frustrating that the installers who told us they work tomorrow can't come back and finish the job that they botched for us. We have to wait 12 days before we can cook again. It will take a very great price before we will want to buy appliances from Home Depot again.

The…read morefirst time I visited, which was at their old location, I was put off by all the gift items in the first room of the store. After all, thought I, this was supposed to be a scrapbook store and they're even in the back of Creating Keepsakes magazine, so what's the deal? I kept on walking and at the side there was another room, smaller than the first, which was stuffed with all sorts of scrapbook goodies. Oh, yes, it was heavenly. Now, if you've ever visited a giant scrapbook retailer in Tulsa or Dallas, Minneapolis or Denver, as I have, you will agree that by comparison this was an itty bitty store. BUT after living here for a year, I was truly in scrapbook heaven. Oh, the papers! And the brads! And the stickers! And all the coordinated products! Let me buy two of each, I thought, as I quickly filled up my basket. :) The new location is easier to access for those of us coming from the south (Fayetteville, that is). It's much larger and according to store emails, they are building on an enormous scrapbook area that should be even better than heavenly. It's not yet open but will be soon. They do have some great sounding classes and crops offered all the time if you're into that sort of thing (48 hour crops just don't sound like fun to me, but hey... Whatever floats your boat.) It has seemed in the past that the buyers for Signed, Sealed, Delivered have SUPERB taste when it comes to deciding the products to have in their store. They have LOVELY stock and it's really top quality. In addition, I'd like to mention that their salespeople are friendly and helpful. LOVE this place!!! (And what could be better than having another favorite, Dilly Dally's toy shop, right next door????) :)

There was an older gentleman that came out and checked on us while we were shopping. He was very friendly without being "used car salesman pushy". We told him we were simply looking for something that might make a good Christmas present but we had no idea what we wanted. He told us to take our take and didn't make us feel obligated to buy something. The other person was a young girl behind the counter. She offered us some suggestions about a few items on the counter that my wife was looking at and she offered to wrap up our purchase for free and she did a great job of it. I hate having that present under my tree because it highlights how bad I am at wrapping.
