Tricia called me back and we were able to get something booked with a wonderful stylist called Julie. Julie was fantastic and gave one of the best and most exfoliating head massages I have ever received. It was worth the price for that alone - and that price is more than reasonable, my friends! The price of having my roots done and getting a quick trim was seriously like HALF of what I had been paying previously. The shampoo was great, and the woman who washed my hair gave a brief neck rub after that felt really nice (in addition to the scalp massage, during). They directed me to Tan for the actual haircut. He listened to what I said, took the photo I showed into consideration, and asked questions along the way. He asked where I part my hair and made sure that the length in front (and back, which was my biggest concern) was to my liking. I LOVE how he cut my hair because it's exactly what I wanted. I almost always get someone who gives me 80-90% of what I wanted, but it always misses the mark somewhere and this was absolutely perfect. The place is laid back and comfortable, friendly and not pretentious or snooty. I will most definitely be back.

I made an appointment which I thought was agreed upon on both sides, when I arrived I saw someone else already in the chair. I was told that I didn't confirm the appointment so it was given to someone else. I was given the option to come back but I declined and left. Vivian called me back later to apologize and offer another appointment the next day to which I agreed to. The next day, two minutes before my appointment was to start, I receive a text stating that she's 30 minutes late. I told her to text me when she's there because I'm close. 45 minutes later I receive a text of, "I'm here....." No apology or explanation. I reply that she's 45 minutes late and that I decline to come and to take care. She responds...."sweet....take care as well". I am really shocked at the whole situation because I have visited her before with no issues. The fact that you can shrug your shoulders and be dismissive of a client lets me know that I'm not a valued customer and my business is not needed or wanted.

I took care of them the way I always have- no water, I don't wash them directly, no sweating, no makeup. For $200, definitely not worth it. Won't be going back.

Additionally, some of the curls throughout are gone as well. I am disappointed that I spent so much money on something to have the top and face framing pieces flat and the rest wonky. I really hope, if it doesn't damage my hair too much, that someone can fix this for me.
