Several times that semester I needed to have someone watch my baby while I went to class. Kris Zara was always there for me. I had absolutely no fears or worries about leaving my daughter with Kris. She has years of experience both in the day care and raising her own daughter. I know that the first few times I left my daughter with Kris, my daughter spent about 75% of the time screaming at her. Kris handled this all in stride. Literally, she walked and rocked, and danced with my daughter until she finally fell asleep. Kris is very observant. She knew that we had been working on baby sign with my daughter. When my daughter actually did the sign for milk, and pointed at her bottle, Kris recognized it immediately. She was also caring and considerate enough to remember to tell me about it at the end of the day. Kris took care of my daughter several days a month for her first 15 months. When I was pregnant, I worried about where I would be able to take my daughter, and who would be watching her. When Kris was able to take care of her, I felt that she would be safe, and happy and I always knew she was in safe and loving hands.
