Local plumbers in Milo, Brownville and Dover-Foxcroft either did not show up when they had promised to or respond to repeated phone requests for service. Kelly is a breath of fresh air in a region where reliable, reasonable help is near impossible to find. I intend to use Kelly for a number of future home projects. And no, I am not related to him.

I called TJ to take care of a punch list of outdoor items to be fixed. He told me when he would be…read moreat my house and he showed up as promised. He fixed some siding that was falling off, he replaced some screws that were not the correct ones t0 hold my gutter up and he replaced some damaged siding. There were no surprises. TJ worked for about five hours and completed all the work. He cleaned up all of the material left over and took his trash. If you have a small project or a large project, call TJ for a quote. He never showed up. I called and left a voicemail at 645pm asking if I misunderstood what time or day he would be there. He called back at 830pm apologizing because he was in the middle of a job and we rescheduled to the same time on 8/22/2023. On 8/22, I received a call shortly before 6pm stating he was on his jet ski looking for a body. He explained his friend either jumped or fell off a bridge and there was a search team looking for him. I wished him the best and he offered to reschedule to 8/23, same time. I agreed as jobs and life can happen. On 8/23, I reviewed the news reports for the prior day and did not see an article about a search response for someone going off a bridge. It's possible this incident happened but at this time it is unsubstantiated. I waited until 615pm to call and was sent to voicemail. I left a message reminding him he had rescheduled to 8/23 and I was waiting for him to either show up soon or to call me. He never showed up or called. At 7pm, I started writing this review. I would not be able to recommend JNC Construction based on 3 missed appointments and would have trouble trusting the work being completed due to the lack of communication.

No matter how many last minute changes I asked him to do (with literally not much time at all to get it done) he did so with a smile. He never complained and if we had annoyed him (which any sane person would have been) he never showed it. I can not thank him enough for the relentless days and nights he spent to make our dream come true! Most late nights, he worked by himself knowing his crew had families they needed to get home to. He and his wife never made us feel anything less than equals/friends. I never actually met his wife, but if Josh was unable to get to his phone if we called, she had no problem with us having their house number so she could relay messages for us. I didn't even realize how much their family was/had gone through until after Josh finished our dream and we were gloating to owners of a nearby store. Who happened to know Josh and his wife's story. The love that family has for each other even after how much his poor wife had gone through, just proves my point, Josh would bend over backwards for anyone he cared for. His wife is strong and even after we found out what she had gone through, never once complained about him working late.
