A Just Peace and Open & Affirming Church. Becoming an Anti-Racist Church.
Christ Congregational Church ("CCC") is a community that works together to improve the world, each other and ourselves. The largest portion of CCC's budget goes to creating an inspiring, inclusive and spirit-nourishing worship experience for all. CCC is blessed with curious, creative and vibrant young people. Many devoted staff and church members are committed to guiding them along their faith journey. CCC's pastoral staff provides guidance and support to all groups, members and friends of the church.
History
Established in 1944.
In 1944, 119 people became the charter members of Christ Congregational Church. It was these pioneers' hard work, devotion, dedication and loyalty that made it possible for CCC to get started and to continue today as a major force in the Silver Spring and Montgomery County communities.

Christ Congregational Church Covenant: We covenant with one another as a community of faith grounded in God, the source of all life. We seek to walk in the ways of God's abiding love, made known or to be made known to us through the Holy Scriptures, the life and the teachings of Jesus, and the continuing guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Affirming that all persons are created in the image of God, we honor and celebrate people of all races, ages, abilities, sexual orientations, an gender identities. In our life together, we endeavor to support each other on our spiritual journeys, with open minds and loving hearts.
