When she started she was not potty trained. Ms Brooks (the owner AND teacher) has helped her blossom in so many ways. My 3 year old now knows some colors and numbers in Spanish, she recognizes her name by sight, can tell you how to spell her name without seeing the letters and she even knows how to write the majority of her first name. She is also fully potty trained. She knows letter, numbers, shapes (including octagon and hexagons) and what surprised me the most is that she knows all of her alphabets in sign language ( we go straight down the list, mix it up, and we even give her the wrong answers sometimes to see if she corrects us, which she does) Ms. Brooks is an excellent teacher, along with her daughters who help occasionally. I chose the word school earlier because that is exactly what its like. They wear uniforms, they have homework, art projects and more. My daughter loves her and she loves the kids right back. From a parents point of view, outside of how much she teaches the kids, she RARELY closes (outside of major holidays) and she is very flexible. Another plus is that the class setting is small for it to be a center. But they all learn so much and I love it!

I am not sure who you are because I have never seen you in this facility so you must have nothing to do but write bad reviews. Since going to this daycare my daughter is 3 years old reading, writing and talk very clear using words like Marvelous in a sentence or Awesome. I am so proud of her and I am especially happy with her teacher. I never see anyone come in and out of this child care center with hand/foot/mouth virus, the flu or and other virus because this facility is very clean. 5 stars to this center.

This school and its faculty and staff have been a true blessing to our family. My five-year-old's…read moreacademic abilities have grown leaps and bounds since he started here in August. We were unable to get him into public school because of his birth date. But, once my husband and I visited the school, met the teachers and learned more about their curriculum and teaching methods, we knew that not being able to send him straight to kindergarten was a true blessing in disguise. My son is very bright and has excellent communication skills. So, I didn't realize that he just wasn't ready for kindergarten at that time. But, within a month at Corkran, my son showed tremendous improvement in his writing and phonetics and other skills that are essential for kids to succeed. Corkran is a fantastic place for a child to learn--and the Christian emphasis is an added benefit. The only reason I shorted them a star is the fact that they close at 5:30 and trend to close for the whole week during every major holiday. This could present a problem for some working parents. Other than that, they're awesome! I highly recommend!

Updated Review: I wanted to follow up on my previous review…read moreand take a moment to express my gratitude. A special thank you to Ms. Carter for all of her hard work and dedication to making sure the daycare runs so smoothly. It's clear how much love and effort she puts into creating a safe, organized, and nurturing environment for the children. All of the staff truly go above and beyond their call of duty to ensure the kids are well cared for. I'm always so pleased when my daughter comes home clean, with her dishes and lunch bag tidied up -- it's such a thoughtful detail that doesn't go unnoticed and is so appreciated. The curriculum is fantastic! My daughter is now 2 years old, and we are seeing so much growth. She is talking more, learning new things every day, and is even starting her potty-training journey. Every day she comes home with a new skill or story, and it's so clear how much she is thriving thanks to the wonderful care she receives. A very special thank you to Ms. Madison and the other incredible teachers in Rylee's class who are so patient, kind, and helpful with everything. Thank you all for the incredible work you do. It means the world to us!

If you're looking for a gym where your kids can do gymnastics just for fun, this might be the place…read morebut you're NOT going to get the dedication, skill, or technical lessons here that you would get from other gyms. My kid's been doing gymnastics since she was 4. Had her here for almost two years (between summer programs and actual enrollments) and I've got to be honest, her growth was stunted. She could be and she be much further along than she is. Recently, at seven, she's had the wherewithal to say, "my new class is so much harder... they actually teach us the right ways and make us do it." Says a lot. I also want to add that this gym offers Friday night fun clubs for about $40. My kid used to love them. However, recently, Fletcher decided to put my child in timeout and tell her that if she didn't do something, she wouldn't get any pizza. Now, it's 2024 and what we're NOT doing is isolating children and threatening not to meet their basic needs (food), especially without calling their parents. When I asked my daughter later about the entire situation, it was clear that Fletcher (who regularly talks too quickly and gets tongue tied) had confused my child. She was genuinely CONFUSED by what he was asking her to do. I think this made clear to me how ill-equipped folks here are to deal with children. Her confusion was SO developmental and could've been addressed/avoided with clearer instructions. But instead, you chose to punish her in an isolating and embarrassing way at what was supposed to be a fun Friday party? Without calling me? Nah, cuz. We will NOT BE BACK. Also, watching your child from a screen vs. in the gym is wack AF.

The children spent a lot of time watching TV. The 5 weeks that my daughter was there they went outside 1 time. Also, Coach Fletcher would regularly bring his big intimidating dog to the gym. This is highly unprofessional as children have allergies and fears of big dogs. I witnessed a little boy crying frantically when he saw the dog and the coach laughed and told him he's a friendly dog. That was the last straw for me.
