Morning drop-offs and Afternoon pick-ups are nothing but chaos. The kids working on curbside are clueless and unhelpful. They make kids watch TV on those rainy days because they have nothing else planned for them, when you pay thousands of dollars. No thanks.

I had high hopes for Congressional Camp based on rave reviews from friends, but my experience has…read morebeen extremely disappointing. On February 1st, I tried to enroll both of my children for a one-week session to see if they would enjoy it before committing further. I successfully signed up my son, but my daughter was waitlisted. Since we needed both kids in camp at the same time due to work schedules, I immediately contacted the camp for insight into whether she had a chance of getting in. It took two days to get a response, only to be told that the waitlist had 130 people and she would not be getting in. Realizing that it didn't make sense to send just one child, I immediately requested to unenroll my son. Weeks later, I finally received confirmation--along with a $200 cancellation charge! It's absurd that there was no way to place my son on a waitlist before enrolling, forcing families with multiple children into an impossible situation. This policy is unfair and completely lacks consideration for working parents. If you have more than one child, I'd strongly advise against this camp unless you're okay with paying a steep fee for a situation that's out of your control. This experience makes me question the camp's priorities--would you want to send your child somewhere that doesn't understand the basic point of camp?

If you're looking for a gym where your kids can do gymnastics just for fun, this might be the place…read morebut you're NOT going to get the dedication, skill, or technical lessons here that you would get from other gyms. My kid's been doing gymnastics since she was 4. Had her here for almost two years (between summer programs and actual enrollments) and I've got to be honest, her growth was stunted. She could be and she be much further along than she is. Recently, at seven, she's had the wherewithal to say, "my new class is so much harder... they actually teach us the right ways and make us do it." Says a lot. I also want to add that this gym offers Friday night fun clubs for about $40. My kid used to love them. However, recently, Fletcher decided to put my child in timeout and tell her that if she didn't do something, she wouldn't get any pizza. Now, it's 2024 and what we're NOT doing is isolating children and threatening not to meet their basic needs (food), especially without calling their parents. When I asked my daughter later about the entire situation, it was clear that Fletcher (who regularly talks too quickly and gets tongue tied) had confused my child. She was genuinely CONFUSED by what he was asking her to do. I think this made clear to me how ill-equipped folks here are to deal with children. Her confusion was SO developmental and could've been addressed/avoided with clearer instructions. But instead, you chose to punish her in an isolating and embarrassing way at what was supposed to be a fun Friday party? Without calling me? Nah, cuz. We will NOT BE BACK. Also, watching your child from a screen vs. in the gym is wack AF.

The children spent a lot of time watching TV. The 5 weeks that my daughter was there they went outside 1 time. Also, Coach Fletcher would regularly bring his big intimidating dog to the gym. This is highly unprofessional as children have allergies and fears of big dogs. I witnessed a little boy crying frantically when he saw the dog and the coach laughed and told him he's a friendly dog. That was the last straw for me.

They are not transparent in the total estimated cost of each course, i.e., the cost of materials. Or even a range of costs. And, if you do not cancel on or before an exact date, before the classes even start, and before you even know the material costs, no refund; They simply credit your account for future courses, less a $20 admin fee. Unfortunately, I was 2 days past this arbitrary cancellation date,5 days before my course start date when I went to their store to purchase materials. I was aghast at the price-nearly the cost of the course. When I called and the wrote to the head of the school, she showed no interest in my side of the story, my financial concerns. In fact, she was rude and unprofessional. There is so much room for improvement in the way the business is managed and run. They do not appear to care about their customers' feedback. And, I haven't even mentioned to store itself... Can't vouch for the teachers, as I didn't even get that far. And I won't . I will try to sell or gift my credit. There seems to be many other venues for art classes that are far less expensive. And more transparent in their costs.
