I came by shortly after closing. Fortunately the shop owner still took my order. She was very kind. I did expect limited availability. I ordered a Thai tea, hazelnut and raspberry choux and an original canele. I liked the raspberry flavor the best. The choux would have tasted better if it was fresh, this I know. I was just not a fan of the flavoring. The canele however is good and big. Each treat was $4.25 and if you buy a certain amount, there's a discount. I got $1 off for buying 4.

We were on the best pastry hunt in SF and found this hole in a wall spot @ the nice Fillmore area. We got lucky and found immediate parking so that always helps. We tried a little bit of everything and liked most of it except for the lavender choux as it squirted all over me when I took the first bite and not sure if that was supposed to happen, they didn't warn us. The actual store is super tiny and just order via the window and the pastries were tinier than it looked on the photo we saw, just like the store itself but friendly service. We tried the Choux, Financier and I forgot the other one but all great except for the mess on one of them, not cheap for sure.

We ordered cream puffs from Choux for Valentine's Day. A box of 12 for friends and a small box of 4 for us. Every single one was incredible. My wife's favorite was the caramel. I'm partial to the hazelnut, which had this deep, almost praline-like flavor. Our friends loved 'em too, and their kids demolished the rest before anyone could grab seconds. My research research tells me Choux female-owned and founded by a pastry chef trained in Paris. And boy, you can definitely tell. The cream puffs are light, the fillings taste fresh (not overly sweet), and the boxes have a nice design without trying too hard. If you're looking for the best cream puffs in San Francisco, a last-minute gift, or just something special for a gathering, this is it. Works for adults and kids equally well. We'll be ordering again.

I called at 445pm, the day before an event where our org needed a dozen pastries customized with our logo. Looking at Choux's website, everything looked gorgeous and classy. Sophisticated and pretty. I spoke to Kat who recommended the Birthday Box - a lovely little box containing 12 delicacies. I emailed her our logo and she was able to assemble this adorable presentation of her creations with our logo sitting atop of each one. And the best part? They were delicious and our staff appreciated the extra care that went into the preparation. Thank you so much, Choux!

Takeout only bakery with a variety of flavors for cannelés, choux and financiers. The packaging is cute and makes for a nice sweet treat gift! The choux are a bit small for the value but delicious! I enjoyed the raspberry and lemon flavors the most

Went for the first time after a recommendation from a friend! A very cute and quaint place - fyi it's a small shop with no indoor seating as it's pretty much just an order counter. They have a variety of flavors and treats you can mix and match. Each pastry is $4 but you do get a small discount the more you buy. (I bought 4 items for $15) Hazelnut choux: 10/10. My personal favorite. Delicate, nutty and decadent. Lemon cannele: 9/10. Delicious and mild. Not too sweet with a nice chew! Yuzu coconut choux: 9/10. Delightfully tart and sweet! Not too coconut-y which I was relieved about Matcha cannele: 6/10. Was okay but a bit underwhelming. While they're a bit pricey for the size, I like the smaller bite-sized pastries as it's the perfect amount to get a sweet fix.

Choux is a great grab-and-go spot when looking to get some pastries. It's a small shop, so you basically order at the doorway and take everything to go, as there's no seating area. The pastries were around $4 each when I visited, and the nice perk is that they offer you a discount the more you buy. I got four canelés for $15 instead of $16, and it was delicious. The box you get is also very cute. Service was good and very quick. Would recommend!

Choux is such a cute little store. No seating and you just order in front of the building. It's hard to find good choux in the city. They come in a lot of classic flavors. I would eat them fresh or risk having them turn soggy from the filling. I do wish they came in more unique flavors as there are so few choux places in the city. Also bigger ones because these can easily be finished in two small bites.

They don't have a lot of choices You order at the doorway no seating We got the item they are famous for and I also got the Dubai version which they said is like a cream puff, and it was amazing

My friend and I decided to grab a sweet treat and Choux was nearby. We ordered the raspberry, honey lavender, and hazelnut choux and 1 cannele. The raspberry choux was tart and had a nice raspberry flavor. The hazelnut choux was similar to eating a ferrero rocher and wasn't too sweet but still had a nice flavor. The honey lavender had a stronger lavender taste and was floral. I think overall I preferred the raspberry and hazelnut choux than the honey lavender but all were solid options. My favorite was the cannele. It had a strong vanilla flavor and you could see the vanilla bean coating the cannele. It was sweet and the texture was spongey and slightly dense/ (which I didn't mind). The texture was a mix of a custard and a cake. I would definitely love to come back and try their matcha cannele too! The worker there was patient and attentive. The location is in a window pickup so no seating at all. However, there are parks nearby to enjoy your desserts at.

Choux is such a delightful little bakery! Everything here feels special-- beautifully made, light, and full of flavor. Their gluten-free brownies are my absolute favorite--rich, fudgy, and so satisfying without feeling heavy. The cream puffs are just as dreamy, with the perfect balance of crunch and cream. It's the kind of place that makes you smile the moment you take that first bite. You can really taste that joy and dedication in their desserts. A must-visit spot in San Francisco!

Adorable little bakery for pick up orders (no seating). Really original flavors of choux, financiers, and macarons. Next time I need to get the caneles.

Once the bakery opened at 9 AM the line moved fairly fast, but by opening time the line was down two blocks and wrapped around out of sight. We'd heard about B&C lines but even this on a weekday morning was surprising. Overall the pastries were very good, I will say that the savory pastries rank higher here than anywhere else I've been, but the sweet pastries don't. We got the Strawberry Rhubarb Cruffin, Lemon Bluberry Bun, Potato Artichoke Croquiche, Bacon Egg & Cheese, and Sam's Blood Orange Olive Oil Cake. The Croquiche was my favorite of all of them, and it was great warm, with a nice creamy filling. From the sweet pastries, my favorite was the Strawberry Rhubarb Cruffin - the rhubarb taste wasn't very strong but it was overall flaky, not too dry (even when eating it later in the day), and the cinnamon coating also didn't clash with the strawberry, vanilla, and orange. Least favorite was the olive oil cake; it was slightly bitter and the olive oil taste was dominating. These pastries are very large. Split between 2 people 3 of them were enough for us to be so full we saved the rest for later. I also got the Brown Butter Butterscotch Latte (iced), I'm not usually a fan of coffee but it was really good (it's very sweet so as a non-coffee drinker that worked out for me - the syrups overpower the coffee taste). The inside is cute with a pastel pink theme, we were able to snag the two seats by the window. I also liked the merch for sale and got a small print of the storefront. Definitely worth going too once, but due to the line I probably won't return until a monthly menu comes out that has a lot of things I desperately want to try. It's a top 3 bakery in SF for sure.

When my wife and I started planning our leisurely drive to San Francisco, we intended to visit two…read morebakeries, Tartine and Arizmendi, with the goal of purchasing scones and other pastries/desserts. Our cousins were familiar with both bakeries and graciously volunteered to be our foodie guides as we drove to these two bakeries Saturday morning. After visiting Tartine and B Patisserie, Arizmendi was our final bakery and our last stop on our Bay Area foodie tour. Just like the other two bakeries, Arizmendi was a popular destination, it was different than the other two in the selection of the pastries, and I highly recommend their corn cranberry scone and their cheese focaccia. Arizmendi is also located in the Mission District specifically on Valenica and 24th Street. The bakery is in between a Royal gas station and the KitTea Cat Lounge. Parking consists of street parking and just like the other bakeries, parking could be challenging, but Arizmendi is worth the trouble parking and walking to this confectionary paradise. This bakery is a business where their baked goods are enjoyed at home since there is minimal seating. What's unique about this bakery compared to the other two is how the baked goodies are selected. It is self serve where it's a little hectic trying to maneuver around other customers to pick the pastries and breads you desire. The young black lady behind the register who checked us out was courteous, friendly, and took care of us quickly. As you enter Arizmendi, there are four wooden display cases with plexiglass holding scones, cinnamon rolls, muffins, pies, croissants, focaccia, cookies, and shortbreads. As you peer through the plexiglass to decide what to select, make sure to grab the provided wax to pick up your baked goods and place them in the provided bags. One of our friends asked us to grab scones, so scones were one of the items we knew we were going to purchase. My wife selected other items, but I asked her for a focaccia because my cousin said that Arizmendi was know for their pizza breads. I highly recommend you purchase their corn cranberry scones. These scones are hearty, the cranberry is plentiful, and I really enjoyed these while I was drinking a coffee at home. The focaccia I picked was a cheese focaccia made with poblanos, kale, and queso fresco. That square pizza bread was a savory revelation where I devoured that as snack after heating it in our home toaster oven. It was cheesy, the poblanos and kale were tasty, and I completely agreed with my cousin's assessment about their pizza bread. We're so grateful to our cousins for taking valuable time to serve as our foodie tour guides during our trip to San Francisco. Bay Area denizens are blessed to have three bakeries where they can satisfy their pastry, dessert, and bread cravings. We're fans of Arizmendi's scones and pizza bread.

The only downside is that it's not given to you heated. Eating it cold was not optimal. The banana "tart" because I don't recall the exact name, is to die for! It's sweet, it's sooo good!
