I am super picky with both my nails and eyebrows but whenever I'm here, I don't ever have that nervous pit feeling in my stomach because I know I am in good hands. Number one thing for me when getting my nails done is cuticles. You can a bad paint job just please make sure to get my cuticles nice and clean, they do just that here. With my eyebrows, I have a rather full pair of eyebrows so any wrong little hair that is removed, I can tell because not only do I have full eyebrows but they are thick too. Juliana, the eyebrow lady there, she always designs my eyebrows nicely. Never removes too much and really takes her time in making sure they are symmetrical. In the past, I got my eyebrows done at a chinese salon and they never took time and gave some tlc to my eyebrows, it was just, 1, 2, 3, done, off you go. Juliana actually fixed the mess they made on my eyebrows because when I came in they were not symmetrical. After two waxes, my eyebrows are now perfect pairs. Now onto the brasilian wax. Let me tell you, I was peeing my pants basically because of how nervous I was of the pain I'd be experiencing while getting this done, but as we always say, beauty is pain. News flash, with Nadia, beauty is not pain, it is pain free actually. Nadia has the lightest and FASTEST hands in the world. Pressed on time and still need a wax? Come to Nadia's salon, she will get everything done in 15 minutes and when you leave, don't worry you will not be left burn or with patches. She has been doing this for years, both in Brasil and here in the states so you know she's set with those skills. I drive out of my way just to go to Nadia for my brasilian wax. Cheaper than European wax center, and a much better and cleaner job.

I've driven to this salon on two separate occasions. It's about a two hour round-trip for me…read morebecause I live closer to Pennsylvania. That being said there's a certain standard that one might expect when driving that far. And I can assure you that while I may have been oblivious to it the first time I went I definitely didn't miss it the last time. I just went in a few days ago for a retwist, and I noticed several unhygienic aspects of how they do business. First thing aside from the holes in the wall and dirt all over the floor, they smoke hookah inside the salon. None of the hair clips get re-washed after use, or at least the ones that were use while I was there. There was gel residue, in foreign hairs, all over all of the clips, some of which were also rusted. Those same clips I just described, then got put into my hair as well as any other clients who were there. So at this point, my hair was washed, and now has dirty clips put in it will re-twisted, and then they sit you down in a hairdryer That also has residue all over it. In both of the times that I've been there I've never seen anyone clean a single thing in my last re-twist from start to finish took four hours. I can honestly say that I'm not sure what I saw this place or why I thought it was worth driving so far but I won't be going back again and I can only help that they pull her back into their business. The workers are otherwise mostly friendly, but paying $140 for a retwist of this quality was horrendous, especially when I walked out with all kinds of stray hairs.

(Day one) When I arrived I was told that the person is available just stepped out for a short moment, 30 minutes after they told me the person is out of town. I agree to go with a different stylist and she asked me to start installing the locs the following day. 2. (Day 2) My appointment was at 5:30am, and the shop remained closed until 6:40 am. There I was waiting in the cold, no call to reschedule, nothing. 3. I showed them a picture of how I want my hair to look, the owner gave me a price, half way through they told me to pay now at a higher price (said she didn't include everything). 4. We came to a price agreement and after I paid they did not complete the job. 5. Their attitude felt like I asked them to do my hair for free. They treated me with such disrespect. There was no apology for all I went through. Nothing.
