Rude customer service when questioned, blaming it on their co workers giving the wrong information. Cant fulfill take out orders meanwhile taking more orders while in the presence of waiting customers. Health unit should also be called. No one watching the buffet where I witnessed tongs falling on their gross floor and being placed back up! We try and support our small community, but this business is using this to their advantage. Dont relay false information and times... people often order Chinese for large groups and now these people are expected to just " wait" for hours for food.

Finally! A decent Chinese buffet in Sudbury!…read more I have spent a lot of time searching for a good Chinese buffet in Sudbury! This one is awesome! Excellent food and service! I don't usually base a review on chicken balls, but wow! I have avoided them for years.. usually a ball of breading with a piece of chicken waved over it. These are delicious! Fresh, tender chicken with just a thin layer of crispy coating! And the honey garlic spare ribs.... Usually they come as a mess of bone and gristle with a thin layer of something meat like. At this restaurant, they give you something to sink your teeth into! I could easily fill up on these! And the rest of the food was fantastic.... Don't let the older setting of the building fool you.. my own kitchen is 50 years old, but I can produce some great food ( or so my wife, kids and grandkids tell me) A wonderful food experience that we will be returning to !

As usually I invited the family over for Mother's Day Dinner. My sister in law suggested we order Chinese food this year so nobody would have to cook. Reise's Restaurant is around the corner so we decided to order from there. First of all the food was cold but as we were dishing out we noticed one of the dishes was missing. I called to let them know and he proceeded to tell me that I would have to go back to pick up the order. I said no I wouldn't be doing that as already my food is getting colder on my plate. I then asked him to credit the dish to my card over the phone. He said he couldn't do that so I advised him that I would come in the next day to get my credit for the food. He then proceeded to tell me that they would be closed for two weeks and that I would have to wait until after that. So then I told him again that I would give him my master card number over the phone so he can credit me over the phone. He said no, I have to come in. So on Mothers Day I left my 95 year old mother and left to go get my measly $19.00 out my $155.00 order. When I arrived at Riese's I waited for staff to show and nobody came to serve me so finally I went to the kitchen to let them know I was there for my credit...by this time I was visibly upset. He proceeded to tell me I had to calm down before he would give my refund. OK so now I"m really upset! I said, just give me my credit for the food I didn't get so I can get out of here....not until you calm down he said...I proceeded to leave because there was no way I was going to calm down when another lady came out of the kitchen yelling at me that I had to bring all the food back before they can credit me!!!!!! OMG can you imagine!!! I tried to explain as calmly as possible at this point that I was only looking for a credit for the food that I Paid For and did not receive! As a customer I should never have to be in the position to fight for what is mine.
