This small, but wonderful pasteleria, located in the downtown center of Puerto Escondido, is an oasis for sure. What you will notice is that when you go to Puerto Escondido, if you listen enough, there are areas you would never know, and you are the worse for it. I realized I did not know anything about the downtown of Puerto Escondido, the shops, the grocery stores, the every day places people would frequent. I often never made it past the beach, hence, I missed out on staple places like this one. I was starving on my way to Chacahua, and I found this pasteleria filled with sandwiches, baked goods, desserts, and more. Asked if I wanted my sandwich heated, this was a personal and professional, yet very local establishment that allows for a sense of "I love this place" that will also hit the spot when you are hungry. This fueled my interest in finding more locations just like this, but the owner started it all with this business. A wonderful find.
