Chocolate Bash is such a fun dessert spot to visit at Irvine Spectrum when you're craving something sweet! They have a huge selection of chocolate-based treats, from their viral Dubai chocolate creations to customizable dessert plates. Their staff is also incredible welcoming and generous with the toppings! What we ordered: Dubai Chocolate Strawberry Cup: fresh strawberries paired with rich chocolate and the viral Dubai chocolate topping. Build Your Own Sampler Plate: we added cookie butter drizzle, Nutella drizzle, and vanilla ice cream. The warm, chocolatey flavors with the creamy ice cream made this the perfect shareable dessert. Chocolate Covered Strawberries: a classic treat that was sweet and indulgent.

This place had me hungering for more after trying the more cookies I say it was well satisfying for someone who loves sweets. The service was fast and the location is hot. By hot I mean a lot of traffic which is good it's nice to see a place alive. I would recommend the bash shakes it is enough to fulfill and not overly hurting your calorie count.

We love chocolate bash! We are excited to have this open up in the spectrum center near our home!

Dropped in for a quick sweet fix and they delivered! THE FOOD. - Chocolate Covered Strawberry. Opted for both white chocolate and milk chocolate. The strawberry itself was impressively large and naturally sweet, the kind that tastes like it was picked at peak ripeness. The chocolate shells add a satisfying snap before giving way to the strawberry. Simple, classic, and done well. THE PARKING. Free parking available, both surface lot and structures. The earlier you get there, the better chance you have of snagging a spot close by. THE VERDICT. Delicious treats for the sweet tooth. Just saw they are now permanently closed and now I'm sad.

Totally satisfied our chocolate cravings! My older daughter was bummed that Somisomi ran out of cookies and cream ice cream yesterday night so I had to figure out how to cheer her up. Luckily I spotted Chocolate Bash in the distance. I've ordered from the Tustin location before and remembered loving everything I ordered (especially the lava cake) so I quickly made my way over with the girls. The staff was so friendly and helpful in answering questions. My daughter had a vanilla ice cream topped with Oreo crumbles and we all shared chocolate covered strawberries. I only wish the indoor space was a little bigger but totally get that most people take it to go and enjoy outside. Both girls left with smiles on their faces so mission accomplished!

The chocolate covered strawberry was delicious. The strawberry and chocolate coating combination was a nice treat. Everything looked nicely made.

Smack in the heart of the Irvine Spectrum is Chocolate Bash. The outside is deceiving in size because on the outside it's big but the inside is small. Of course I ordered the Dubai chocolate strawberries! Loved them but way too expensive. I wouldn't go back because $17 for a little cup of strawberries & drizzle chocolate/ pistachio sauce, totally out of my budget!

For some reason I thought it was much bigger on the inside. It is mainly a counter, with enough room to house a line but very little seating. There are seats and tables outside but finding a communal area in the Irvine Spectrum is probably better. We got the cup of strawberries with chocolate , pistachio paste and knafeh topping and it was so delicious and refreshing. Is it worth $15? Possibly. I would have to be craving for it and if it is peak strawberry season, I would treat myself to one. We also got a bar to take home which, from the bars I have had in the past, their Dubai chocolate is ok. Although staff was friendly, the service was slow. We waited 25 mins after ordering which is not bad if you have good company but when you are hungry and a toddler, that 25 mins seems forever. I'd consider going back but in the list of priorities, it would be somewhere in the middle.

My daughter loves this spot and is totally obsessed with their Dubai chocolate strawberries... those alone get a solid five stars. They're rich, indulgent, and definitely a must-try if you're into dessert that goes all out. Now here's where it drops a bit for me: cleanliness. I've got a thing about places that serve food staying clean, and unfortunately, Chocolate Bash missed the mark. The dust buildup on top of the prep area is... not it. We're talking months of dust, not just a little missed spot from last week. This review's really more of a heads-up for management--please train your team to do regular deep cleans and maybe invest in a long-reach duster or something. Because when you've got a place this sweet, the vibe and the cleanliness should match the quality of the dessert. Still, the treats are solid. Just hope the cleanliness gets a level-up soon. Still got four stars because this is something they can easily do to make it a five star spot.

Angie and Grace were so helpful when we went in. Delicious crepes and chocolate covered strawberries. So good!

The cream has actual flavor and is very sweet, it mixed with the strength of the ladyfingers giving it a perfect balance of flavors and for me is the pinnacle of tiramisu. There is a fine chocolate syrup drizzled on top for presentation but honestly it adds just hint of sweetness that works heavenly. 9.5/10 Only $8

That being said, here are my positives! - the food is super good and if solely ranking on food, it'd be a five! I got: avocado toast, the blu's clues smoothie, and the sun & moon crepe - though not fitting the typical Southern California "aesthetic," the food put a smile on my face. - the toast was crunchy, and the avocado and subsequent toppings (greens and cheese) was well put together, tasting very good. - the Blu's Clues is what you'd expect out of a superfood label, but it's the best-tasting one I've had in a while - the crepe was one of the better crepes I've had, not undercooked and well topped. Considering its subpar location, the food punches WELL above its weight. Here are the downsides, though: - inside a supermarket, doesn't really fit a cafe type of vibe, maybe more of an airport lounge feel - there was only one worker so the service was slower paced than what I expected for the environment of the cafe, but nothing out of sorts - since it's in a supermarket it was a little loud, with little seating inside (though plenty outside) - no silverware, only plastic and paper napkins. no plates either, solely to go boxes. - I was also sad that they were out of the superfood açaí bowl as I wanted to try it, but no harm no foul Mind you, all of this can be fixed by moving to a different location, preferably its own and not in a supermarket. I hope this Cafe is able to be successful enough to be able to get to that point. I highly recommend it for the cheap and homey food it offers, especially when you're surrounded by the fancy, expensive, and overbearing food of SoCal. Sometimes it's good to stick to the basics, and they've really nailed it.

These crepes are like the best ever. We didn't want to tell him to stop because every one he brought out was absolutely fabulous. I'm pretty sure it was 7 crepes because we started with 4, and then my daughters and niece asked him to make 3 more. It was a good thing we weren't rushed for time. This is one spot we will definitely return to. We also learned that he is available and does crepes for corporate events. He brings his equipment and sets up in whatever location you want.
