It feels very intimate and comfy, perfect for a date with your partner or your group of friends! They usually have 6-8 different homemade cakes everyday. So far, I have tried the Forest Cake, Caramel Banana Pie, and the Carrot Cake. All were fresh and tasty. My favorite so far is the Carrot cake. It really tasted like fall. They also have a great selection of hot beverages. Their cappuccino and americano are some of the best in Ankara. The çay is lovely too! The service is very lovely. Every time I've visited, there have been female wait staff who are so kind and make sure that you have enough coffee or çay. I highly recommend a visit! They truly have the best cakes in Ankara.

Their products are heavenly blends of sugar, butter, walnut and pistachio and will satisfy you completely. If you are used to Greek or Arabic style baklava with honey and clover, Turkish baklava will taste quite different, however, this is how it actually should be prepared. So, please, do not question the price at all; it may sound relatively higher when compared to its Greek or Arabic counterparts. Do not claim that you tasted baklava if you have not tried baklava by Hacibaba. ...well, nothing is perfect; they sell fresh baklava that is baked daily, and in small batches, so they may run out of certain types early in the day. Five stars for bringing a good concept and a good start. But then it is in the shopping center for the University with over 40,000 international students, so it's to be expected that avant-garde foods or consumer goods would be here. We are here because Jennifer works at the university and is getting married in the city. You get a pick from a large assortment of ice cream flavors as a "base" and then fruit or other mixture is cooled by liquid nitrogen. From there they add toppings as desired. We've seen more choices in Southern California in the USA, but it's amusing the way this place uses a pseudo depiction of a periodic table as the menu! Awesome ambiance. Our Base was Strawberry ice cream, with mixed in fresh strwberries, white and pink (chocolate) chips, toasted marshmallow (or chocolate) on top. It was a great treat after dinner only a few steps away at an excellent resstaurant. But in the future we would fully expect there to be more bases, toppings, and local idiosyncs to bring the shop to a more fully international status. Well recommended. We will definitely return whenever we visit the University.
