It…read morewas a a serious criminal charge that involved serious jail time, but for some very complicated reasons was not legally prosecuted. She did not get me off on some technicality. I was in fact innocent and well within the bounds of law. She was able to investigate and uncover the truth and then convinced the current staff of the prosecutor's office that the previous prosecutor was way out of line for pursuing charges against me. The entire case ended up being dismissed out right, even a bit early. I was now living many states away and desperately wanted to not travel out at great expense for a formality.
