My visit was a night mare the place smelled very bad the lady at the front desk spoke to me like I…read morenever had a Dot physical before and I have been driving trucks since 2006 I didn't need any disrespect I went in to get a Dot physical and she sat there telling me I had to put my job down and I'm the one paying for it my name pay for Dot physicals and leave just that simple but it wasn't this place was dirty just down right nasty.

I visited with Dr. Payne on 8/10/2024/. I visited him for a DOT Physical. I have been a cdl holder…read morefor 28yrs and the physical that Dr Payne provided was inadequate. He only check my hearing and peripheral vision. He didn't check my reflexes, nor to sit if I could bend over or squat. These are things that I am accustomed to experiencing during a physical. He checked my blood pressure and declared that my blood pressure was extremely high ( over 212/110). I disputed the results so he checked it a second time after having me lie down on my back for about 2 mins. The second reading was 172/98 while lying on my back, in which disputed again. I check my blood pressure twice per day and I keep track of my readings. Today before having my wife drive me to take my physical we checked my blood pressure and I had a reading at 10:07 am of 136/85 which was 40 mins after my morning work out which consists of 30 mins and 2 miles on my treadmill. On 8/9 at 5:41pm my reading was 108/81, Long story short I monitor my readings twice daily and I have never had a reading as high as the reading Dr Payne diagnosed. Dr. Payne didn't follow the proper procedures when checking blood pressure: Sit straight up in a chair with your back supported Have both feet flat on the floor and uncrossed Arm resting at heart level Dr. Payne sat me on a massage table. Since I knew how to check blood pressure properly I sat with my back to the wall but Dr. Payne had me slide all the way forward to the edge of the massage table. (back not supported) Secondly, Dr. Payne did not have my arm supported but instead he had me hold my arm up in the air during the test. Thirdly, Dr. Payne did not allow me to place both feet flat on the floor. My back was slouched and I was attempting to keep my back straight which caused me to move during the test. Dr. Payne didn't ask if I needed to use the restroom before taking my readings. He was not aware of the fact that 60 seconds before he took my readings I had been holding my urine sample for 15 minutes and I was in a tight. Dr. Payne checked my pressure a third and final time while I lay on my back with my arm held in the air during the test. All of these infractions caused an inaccurate reading. Finally, Dr. Payne issued me a 3 months card because of these inaccurate readings. I was recommended to use this place for a physical which I now wish I hadn't. I should've been cautious when I heard the conversation between him and the lady before me when she told him that her bottom number was never as high as he said it was (86), I should've left that moment. If the AHA and other organizations all agree on the proper methods when taking blood pressure readings then doctors who are responsible for patient care should know how to do things according to the standards that have been set. I will be seeking a second opinion next week because I know that this Dr. Payne did everything wrong when taking my blood pressure readings and I know that the law allows for a second opinion when there are questions about a physical. I will be looking into filing a complaint against this doctor as well if there is a process for it.

Visited on Thursday, January 6 and Friday, January 7, 2022. I'll never return and DO NOT recommend…read more First and foremost, there is no seating suitable for therapy. During tens therapy, patients are expected to support the weight of their own back/neck/head while sitting atop a flattened chiropractic adjustment table. Are you kidding me?? On Thursday, I arrived 30 minutes early for my appointment, completed my new patient paperwork in a timely manner, and still wasn't seen by the doctor until 45+ minutes into my scheduled appointment. When he (Brandon Williams?) finally entered the room, I went on to communicate my concerns, but before I could finish any complete thought, doc interrupted me at every chance - because what he had to say was more important than what I had to say. After a brief breakdown in communication, he finally offered a more professional response and assured me I'd have a better experience during my next visit. "You'll walk right in to therapy," he said. Friday, I arrived right on time for my appointment. Before I could sit down, I was handed another clipboard with multiple forms. Where was this clipboard yesterday while I was sitting idle for over 30 minutes? I gave it back...blank. Apparently, the new forms were from the "clinic" which can give meds, orthopedic accessories, and medical devices, and so on. Blah blah blah . Who cares??? Give me the forms, let me complete them, and put them into my file until whoever needs them gets them out. I went on to the tens therapy, only to have the therapist connect the machine to the pads incorrectly, with one of a pair being connected to the back and the other being connected to the neck. The doctor tries to convince me to complete the forms and ultimately failing to convince me to trust the care I might receive there. I have no faith in the care or the service and since I ultimately must pay for it, I chose to spend my money elsewhere. Don't waste your time. Don't trust your recovery to these people at Georgia Injury Centers / The Hurt911 Injury Centers.
