The store is filled with every type of chocolates imaginable, light, dark, white, prewrapped or in containers, or pick by the piece. The selection of truffles alone was to die for! It was an incredibly hot day when we were there, and we knew if we set foot outside with chocolate it would be a melted mess in minutes, so we had to restrain ourselves. We bought a selection of chocolate dipped caramels in different flavors - just enough for a quick snack, not enough to melt in our pockets! The works of art in chocolate displayed around the store were brilliant - stop in to see them if nothing else! Definitely make the effort to stop in!

Sit wherever to your heart's content; this place has couches/coffee tables, chairs/tables, and bar stools. The vibe was relaxing, and with dim lighting, it seemed like an intimate place for small gatherings or casual dates. The chocolate beverage selection is overwhelmingly (but deceivingly) large. I assume their specialty is "Hot Ciok" (thick hot chocolate like the Spanish version), along with its many variations (with vanilla sauce, with cranberries, with orange jam, with liquor...you get the idea). I had a (embarrassingly) hard time choosing what I wanted but eventually opted for the "Hot Ciok" with Danish orange marmalade. It was odd to see a literal dollop of stiff orange jam inside the hot chocolate, but once I stirred the jam with the chocolate, then it was all melted into a decadent orange-chocolate pudding that was too filling to finish. They also served the more traditional (thinner) version of hot chocolate. Don't expect too much as we simply watched the bartender put powdered chocolate and hot water together. I also tried two of locally-made and bite-sized pralines (Cassis and "Granberries" flavors). I still wonder if "Granberries" was misspelling from cranberries or a portmanteau for "Granatapfel" (German for pomegranate) and some "...berries." Don't let the name fool you. The bar also sell non-chocolate drinks (teas, cocktails, beers, juices, etc).
