I went to Gladwin's, and told their staff that the part would have to be sourced either s/h, or custom shop, as it was no longer available from Ford. I was told No problem, and the quote would be ready in a couple of days. 11 days later a quote for £0 arrived. The letter said that they couldn't get a new part from Ford's, but if I would like to supply it, they would be happy to quote for fitting. They'd obviously taken no notice of my advice, and wasted 11 days of everybody's time. Not recommended.
