It's a Friday night there's a line out the door. And the workers are having 10 minute conversations. I work at a restaurant and I would have been let go have that been me. I guess it's just a lack of care. Your employees could be better, there's no communication between staff. Not sure who runs the show Friday night, but they could do better with their employees and their customers sitting in a 20 minute line. read more

The staff at this location were super friendly and helpful in answering my questions! I came around 3pm last Saturday. The food was fresh, per usual, and I tried their adobo ranch which was great with chips (cashier recommendation). Honestly the few times I've visited this location, the music was a little too loud to comfortably have conversation with someone sitting at your table, but otherwise the ambiance is clean and pleasant :) read more

I've never been to such a clean and welcoming Chipotle. Cheery greeting as soon as I walked in, the lady who made my burrito was so kind and the team bringing out the to go orders reassured me that our order was made with love and care. I can tell all the counters were recently wiped down and the drink stations were filled and clean. I came home with the food and my kids confirmed that this was the best meal they've had from Chipotle EVER. That means so much because we have been so disappointed in the past with another location we used to frequent. Keep up the great work! We truly appreciated oir meal today. Shame on you, chipotle, Mira Mesa in the village town center. Let me start by saying nobody likes a lecture. I go to chipotle the previous evening, picking up some chips and queso to go along with dinner. When I get home, I noticed that the queso was very grainy and the chips were chewy. so I brought it back the following afternoon and asked for the manager. The individual that came out was named Araceli. She comes out with a smile on her face, and I explained to her the situation. And her first question is you got it from this chipotle? I replied yes I did. I got several things from here for our dinner last night. She said OK well do you happen to have your receipt. Now this is not a handbag. This is chips and queso. Let's keep that in mind. I let her know that no I did not and she's still smiling and she looks at me, but I know what this look means it's with very much Suspicion. So she says hummm that's strange because we always have our associates hand the customer the receipt or put it in their bag. And I said they very well may have. I'm sure they probably did however, when you are going to chipotle not Nordstrom's to get chips and queso the receipt is not gonna be your priority right? I probably threw it in the trash with some of the other bags that we had as well. Then I get the OK well, we'll do it this time but in the future.... I don't wanna hear a lecture. This is horrible Customer Service, even though she Had a smile on her face, and her tone was nice. The words that were coming out of her mouth were not the words that I would consider Customer centric at all. Then she goes on to explain the reasoning why she said that was because sometimes people bring food from other chipotles. And I explain to her I appreciate your tone. I appreciate your smile. I do not appreciate the lecture. Then she gives me a sideways look. And says well, we're more than happy to replace it for you and then she goes into AGAIN (the lecture) Of how she will do it this time, but next time it needs to be accompanied with proof of purchase. And it really is laughable. I would like to know how many people say they buy food and they keep their receipt the next day? And I'm sure she could see the annoyance in my face. It may not have come out in my voice, but my face definitely said it. And she goes on you know when people are nervous they continue to talk and she let me know that she had an employee that was new from another store and was having problems making chips and had made a couple of bad batches and we're trying to work on that. So why are you questioning me when you KNOW your food quality is not at 100% at this point. It's not like I came in there and said hey I want my money back for this right now!! All I did was ask for a replacement With food in hand. If there was any type of Customer Service training going on, it would've been " I'm sorry that our food was not up to our standards. Let me go ahead and replace that for you and I apologize for the inconvenience". Yaaaaa That did not happen. It just grinds my gears when a business is smiles and giggles, taking your money, but then when there is an issue with Their product then they look at the customer like they did something wrong. Chipotle, you must do better with training your Management or assistant management in Customer Service. read more

Service was unreal, they had no issue with me asking for more, asking for things on the side, they were accommodating and patient. They were also checking the temperature of the food making sure it was at a specific temperature to keep it safe which I had never seen before. They even were putting out fresh chicken and instead of giving me the scraps at the bottom gave me the fresh chicken, which has also never happened. I'd say I'd go back to this location. I still never order on the app because every chipotle under serves you or gets it wrong. But going in person was good! read more

Dazel was the team member who served my husband and I tonight and I must say we were so happy to be helped my Dazel! She was friendly, cheerful and quick with serving us-her efficiency was appreciated. I was also happy that portions were actually the way the should be not skimpy like the last few times we visited. I also appreciated the friendly conversation as well. Dinner hit the spot and her great service will definitely bring us back! Glad there are team members that are so well rounded with great customer service from start to finish. Grrr. I keep trying this chipotle and everytime I regret it. I love the chipotle near home as this one is nearest to my work. I have ordered online for pickup 2x and both times the order was totally wrong and not edible. Once we were all sick from it. Today my co worker ordered it in person and it wasn't much better. My "chicken" burrito had almost no chicken. I mean I was digging in the rice looking for it!! It was like a veggie and bean burrito, instead. I was BEYOND starving after my workout and was craving something delicious, somewhat healthy, and packed with protein. Enter: Chipotle. My timing was near-perfect (since there was fresh chicken just about to be pulled off the grill and sliced), so I ignored the growling coming from empty stomach and decided to wait it out (only about 5-10 minutes). So happy I did! I stood behind the plastic divider, eagerly watching, as the staff member constructed this amazing mound of pure deliciousness. My order: Bowl with double chicken, white rice, black beans, fajita veggies, light cheese, romaine lettuce- and sides of guacamole and tomatillo salsa. *Cue chef's kiss* I added a splish-splash of the Chipotle Tabasco sauce and VOILA- PERFECT. Although this magnificent bowl came out to 1,015 calories (yikes), I knew I was only going to slay half for now- and half for later. The first half did its job. As I started to secure the to-go top onto my bowl, I realized half was the ideal serving. I was no longer hungry, and I wasn't overly full. With half leftover for dinner. Perf. The bowl was exceptionally good because the ingredients were all super fresh. An added plus: the staff was all amazing. They were all very welcoming and helpful!! The restaurant itself was tidy. In fact, while I was eating- I watched some staff members continually cleaning up the dining area as patrons would leave. Awesome. I will definitely be back. Chipotle has always been the type of spot that offers healthy choices with good protein options (carnivore and vegan!) The fact that I waited for 45 min to get 2 burritos that I ordered online is insane, but then they serve me these poor excuses for burritos. One is SUPER soggy right out of the bag but absolutely no meat in it either and the other is supposed to have extra meat (also mainly rice) and I paid basically double so the total for the smaller burrito in picture was 23$. Never coming back here again after the many chances I have allowed for them to rip me off with my money. Also EVERYTIME we come here the chips are ALWAYS stale with no lime salt at all. We always have to request it to be done right because they can't get it right the first time. Im not wasting my money or my time for someone to not even do their job right everytime I go there. Tonight was my first time here, and it was a pretty decent experience. The first thing I noticed after walking in was that the restaurant was quite clean. But, when I was looking at the menu, I noticed that you can customize your burritos, tacos, and bowls which I love. However, I ultimately decided to order a bowl containing white rice, and their chicken al pastor, with pinto beans, lettuce, guac, and cheese. Overall, it was quite good. The chicken was pretty good, while the pinto beans definitely elevated the flavor of the bowl. The cheese was decent too, as was the guac that added a great element of freshness to the bowl. The only problem with the bowl as a whole was the lettuce. It was pretty tough and difficult to chew, which I found interesting because I don't really know how you can mess up crunchy water, but all in all, it was a solid bowl! Along with the bowl, however, was a slight credit card issue my mom had paying that wasn't treated too well by staff. The place was really busy, though, so I'll cut them a little bit of slack, but I just wish they handled the situation a bit better. In the end though, we were able to get our food, and as I explained above, it was pretty good. read more

I'm not sure what happened recently (maybe major staffing changes), but the food quality was not good at all. Today I got a chicken and carnitas bowl. I wanted the steak bowl but unfortunately the shop didn't have steak prepared at all. The cooks seemed like they didn't know what was going on when the manager asked them too. The brown rice had uncooked brown rice bits. The fajitas was not seasoned well or cooked for that long - I had some undercooked peppers. This was my first bad experience here. The previous workers in the beginning of summer were way better. I hope there can be significant changes here to make the food quality as good as it was before since this is my go-to place to eat after the gym. read more

I don't know what to say about this place, been here a few times for mobile order and pick up and usually it's a flawless system. Not sure if they had a turnover of employees recently but it shows that staff needs to be trained in customer service. Went in to pick up a mobile order tonight. Order was promised at 7:20pm. I was waiting for my order, alongside a few other customers. One gentleman told me he's been waiting forever for his. I'm standing there patiently waiting for my order, I watched people who came in to order in person get their food faster than me. I approached the young cashier and inquired about my mobile order and he simply dismissed me and said "it's being worked on". Did not ask me what my confirmation number was or say something alongside of "please hold on while I check on that order for you". I was brushed aside. Standing on the sidelines waiting to be assisted.. it's been 10-15 minutes already. I noticed one girl clocking out and two employees walking away with a burrito, what appears to be their break?? Idk. Not a single person who passed me asked if they could help me with anything. Later a guy comes out from the kitchen with 4 bags of food. I got excited, checked the tickets/ receipts on the bag, none belonged to me. I then asked the guy who came out from the kitchen where my food was as it was promised at 7:20pm. With slight concern, he asked how long I've been waiting. I told him and heard him groan in frustration as he headed back into the kitchen. He came back out 5 mins later with my food. No apology, but I can't be mad about that as it's probably someone on his team who didn't do their job. Two stars because the food was ok, fresh and hot as it was prepared on the spot basically, and parking is abundant. Not sure if I'll be back if service continues to suck like this. read more

I usually never have a problem at this chipotle but the past 2 times I've put in a order, it was such a disappointment. I ordered a steak salad and tell me why this is bowl had like 5 pieces of lettuce. I would of just ordered a burrito bowl at that point. Also didn't even give me the salad dressing for it. Such a bummer. 2nd time I ordered tacos and they just wrapped it in foil... the other times I've ordered tacos, they were nice enough to put it in a bowl like the picture I posted ( I didn't take a picture of it wrapped in foil) I'll be sure to not order through the app anymore and order in person so they can get my order correct. read more

It's not the best and not the worst. Got the chicken bowl like always. So far I've tried all their protein options. Chicken is probably the most reliable because it has less cartilage/fats on it compared to the other meats. I still found a few pieces of chicken with cartilage which sucks but I've had worst from chipotle. The staff seemed nice and helpful. Ambiance is typical chipotle style. Staff here consistently act like they're auditioning for the newest Fast and Furious movie, with an arrogant swagger and no real care put into the food as they slam containers down, cross contaminate food, leave old food out and fail to get new food in. Went in yesterday for a burrito, they had no one in there ordering for 10+ minutes (I was on my phone before I went in). I go in and i want to get fajita veggies in it, but they have like two pieces of veggies which he puts in the bowl, lol. I say i'll wait for more, but he says it would be FIFTEEN MINUTES to make the veggies. He closes up the burrito before I even get a chance to say I'll wait, assuming I wouldn't, and that's it. How on earth would it take FIFTEEN MINUTES to make those? On top of that, remember, I was outside for 10 minutes prior, so they just left the veggies empty for nearly half an hour Unacceptable. Staff simply does not care, vote with your wallets and go anywhere else. I know I'll be going to Flame Broiler next door instead. P.S. the guac they brought out had huge blackened portions in it, and it was a NEW CONTAINER of it, so they saw no issue with this. I like chipotle, great pricing for the food you get. Ordered online, promise time of 11:00am. App told me it was ready but it wasn't ready until 11:16am. I did appreciate one of the employees checking on me and assuring me it was being worked on. This chipotle gives smaller portions than other locations, or maybe it's a mobile order and not an in person one. Whatever the case, the food was still good. Only gripe is I asked for lettuce, my bowl maybe like 10 pieces total. Would come back for the price and the nice employee! Not to mention plenty of parking and clean interior. read more

Such a bad experience today at chipotle's. Got to the counter because they didn't put salad dressing in the bag when it was asked for. When I got to the counter the two associate's behind the counter did even acknowledge me, were in the middle of a conversation, and cursing back and forth t each other, "what the f..." I skipped over them and told the front counter that they had forgot the salad dressing for my meal. Instead of apologizing and just getting some salad dressing they said "well you should have asked for it in the order". Like I'm sorry. Train your associates to have some customer service skills. read more

My family is gluten free. Some Chipotle locations are better at training their staff about gluten free and others not so great. It also depends on the employee. Make sure you speak to a manager first as I learned not all employees are totally trained. Perhaps they are, but don't remember what the protocol is when a customer asks for a gluten allergy order. The manager at this location took down my order on a piece of paper and made it in the back. It was nice that she took the time to do that. The next time I came and told them what the manager did before, they said they could not accommodate it, which was frustrating. Overall, I feel like the value is good for the amount of food you get, especially when you asks for more helpings. read more
