The guys who came to do the moving were nice, lovely, attentive, polite. As soon as I pointed out some of the things were fragile, they told me: "We treat everything as fragile" and that's true! Not everything was packed properly by me but it all arrived perfectly intact. They took exactly the time I thought to load/unload, they showed to me how everything was secured in the van, then I went on the van with them to the new destination. They even wanted to place the boxes in separate areas in my new flat! No need really, it's a studio flat... All they asked for afterwards was to quickly wash their hands, I even offered them a drink (it was bloody hot and still they didn't sweat a bit!) but they kindly refused, off to the next job. Also, they asked me to go and check the van before they left, to make sure they haven't left/stolen anything. I would've paid even double for such a service!

He promised me faithfully that i wouldn't have to lift a finger when it came to moving day which was reassuring as i have long standing back issues and was recovering from pneumonia at the time. When the 2 men arrived, the more senior of the 2 came up to the 2nd floor where my flat was located.....which he huffed and puffed about and kept shaking his head (i had informed the company of this when i booked). Taking a look around he then informed me that i had too much stuff and that i would need to give him an extra £100 cash, which i shouldn't let the office know about.....this was a fee to cover the 'overloading'. I stupidly agreed as i just wanted it to be over. I then said that i would wait downstairs at my neighbours and he looked at me sternly and told me that i must help with all the boxes. He walked up those 4 flights of stairs maybe 5 times and myself and his very keen colleague did all the rest. My back was getting worse by the minute and when i asked to take a break because of my back issues, he told me absolutely not because he was in a hurry......all the while, he just stayed on the van talking on his phone. To add insult to injury, he made me unload the other end too. I was stupid for going along with it but i was a girl on my own and he was very intimidating. I was shell shocked by the end of it and he even sneared at me when i paid him and asked for more money.....as it had taken too long apparently. Like it was my fault that he didn't help or that the company had underestimated the job at hand!! I complained to the office the next day and was promised a call back which didn't come. I asked for my £100 back which i never saw and im now suffering on a daily basis with my back as that awful day really aggrivated an old injury. They are liars and crooks. Do not use them. Go with a well known company that won't rip u off.......its just not worth it!!!!!!!

It's the people back at the office handling the bookings, the customer service and the claims did an awful, infuriating job. - We contact them and do the video review thing to get a quote. It all seems very friendly and practical. We make it very clear that we're doing some of the moving ourselves with repeated car trips, but they end up sending a quote of £1,698 for 2XL vans and 5 movers, which we know is way too much space, and trying to make way too much money off us - We have to call them 3 times to get them to reduce the quote to 2 normal vans and 4 people, at a more reasonable price of £1204 - On move day, only one of the vans and 3 of the people show up. The packing is slower, the guy running the moving team doesn't know what's going on, we repeatedly call the company and are fobbed off and told the second van will arrive "soon" - It doesn't show up for hours. The guys doing the moving are nice enough and do a ok job on their own, but it's stressful because we're not sure we can fit it all into the 1 van we have, and because they've no idea if the 2nd van will even turn up, they're keen to set off to moving destination on their own while we wait for the other van (?!) - We finally find out that the 2nd van was booked out on TWO other jobs before ours, and it arrives literally as we're worried the 1st van is just going to drive off. Some of the movers are laughing at what a mess it is. - We finally drive to the new address and unpack - the guys are efficient and do a good job. But then we call M25 again to discuss a discount because the move was a mess, and we didn't get about 40% of the resources we paid £1200 for. The person on the phone refuses to accept that anything was wrong for ages, until she finally says that their claims department will "probably" give something like a 10% discount - We make a formal claim over e-mail, get forwarded to their claims people, and we basically get nothing but "we're looking into this" for 2 weeks. And then after those 2 weeks, we get a message that is mostly poor excuses instead of any apology or accountability, and an offer of £25 as a compensation. £25 off a £1200 payment, when the move was a stressful mess and we didn't receive 40% of the resources we paid for (after spending a week haggling them down from paying £500 more for even more resources). - Their explanation was that it's apparently standard that their resources are distributed "dynamically". We tell them how ridiculous this is that they're saying none of their customers can be guaranteed to get their resources they pay for. They reluctantly give a "final" offer of just £50. We tell them that this is not good enough, and they simply stop replying, now over 3 weeks ago. Blows my mind that anyone running a business would defend all this to the end, then think it's ok to just stop responding.

Absolutely appalling experience. This company advertises a fully refundable £5 reservation fee -- a…read moreblatant lie. After deciding not to go ahead with the booking, I requested my refund, only to be told they won't return my money but will instead "hold my booking" as credit. That's not a refund -- it's theft with extra steps. Their terms are misleading and feel deliberately designed to trick people into parting with money they have no intention of giving back. Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy being scammed out of small amounts for no service at all.
