Pretty decent Chinese fast food. The dish ordering process is similar to Panda Express where you get a choice of rice or chow mein and a few choices of entrees depending on which combo you choose. The ladies at the front of the store are very nice, so if you're confused about the menu, they'll happily assist you! I chose combo A which is fried rice, chow mein, and the choice of one entree. The vegetable tofu stir fry was my entree and it was pretty good. A very flavorful vegetarian option. The chow mein was pretty good as well; I liked that they used thick fried noodles. The fried rice wasn't too good. The texture of the rice was pretty hard and it tasted like school cafeteria rice. Besides the rice, it was really decent Chinese fast food. In conclusion, this place isn't rock your world, authentic Chinese food, but if you're looking for a decent, cheap meal, this spot is for you!

Combo B. Kung Pao Chicken, BBQ Pork.

Easy parking. Super quick and friendly service. Prices reasonable for the amount of food you get!

I've been on the hunt for different Chinese takeout spots in the area, so tried this one on a weekday right before they were about to close around 8:30 PM. When I got there, most of the dishes were almost empty so I would suggest come earlier in the day for fresh food. I got combo A for about eight dollars. It comes with one entrée. The fried rice is not good. I think they use brown rice which makes it taste odd but also the rice isn't really seasoned so it was just kind of rice and vegetables with no seasoning. The noodles were pretty typical and the barbecue pork was OK! Food is a 6/10 overall for me but if you're craving takeout I'm not sure if it'll hit the spot! It's a chill environment and the people that work there are very nice.

Combo B (chow mein and double orange chicken)

I don't normally eat Chinese fast food but I had to try this place because my bf was obsessed with their orange popcorn chicken. He said they make it very crunchy and juicy meat with good taste of sweet and sourness. So I was excited to try too! We got here, not many people, but overall place is neat and clean. The lady was really welcoming and she recommended us the spicy popcorn chicken. We were curious so we ordered it. We got the chow mein with original and spicy popcorn chicken. Sadly, the chicken was soggy and bland. Also the temperature of the food was lukewarm, so it was sad for both of us. Before I heard their chicken quality never failed. So hopefully next time when we come back it would be cook amazingly. Also I would try other food next time because they all looked yummy.

They are very generous with their portions for the price (Everything attached came with the combo C), but that's were the pros end. The chow mein and the fried rice were both mushy and not great. The orange chicken and beef and broccoli had some flavor, but you can get better. The "teriyaki chicken" was dry and came with no sauce. I would not recommend.

This Chicken Wonton Soup is absolutely delicious. It's full of veggies and it's a great serving size.

This Chicken and shrimp wonton soup is immaculate. It full of veggies and so flavorful and the portion size is great and it was completely filled to the top. 10/10

DO NOT GET THE WONTON SOUP They fill this big bowl up full of cabbage and broth, then stick 4 wontons and 4 shrimp on top to fool you into thinking you're not getting cabbage soup. Soooo pissed I spent $9 on this crap Would've been better off eating the MSG infested options they have already prepared, which are almost always half empty and full of veggies. Broccoli and beef looks like it's just broccoli and the mushroom chicken is literally all mushrooms. Waste of time and waste of money

The food is definitely average at best compared to other Chinese restaurants/food places around here, but they make up for it with huge portions. Sometimes the food would taste like leftovers but overall, it's surprisingly not that bad.

We had two orders of slippery shrimp, kung pao chicken, eggplants with hot and spicy garlic sauce, juicy steamed dumplings, and pork fried rice. Overall, both restaurants in Chinatown and Pasadena provide great food quality. The ambience was cozy with dim lighting. Our round table had a wooden rotating tray. They have pictures of celebrities and politicians who've visited their restaurant. Service was relatively quick, but there was a 20-minute wait for the dumplings. Valet parking can get difficult when the lot gets full. A few cars entering the narrow driveway had to reverse out of the way to let others leave. The kung pao chicken was very tasty with a good amount of spice. I noticed that the slippery shrimp didn't taste as spicy as the portion from Pasadena. Reviews say that the spice is adjustable. Regardless. it tasted great as it came right off the pan. The pork fried rice was delicious with a savory flavor that didn't seem overpowering. I thought the juicy steamed dumplings were the weakest dish out of our whole order. There wasn't enough flavor and heat from the broth. I didn't try much of the eggplants, but they tasted adequate for me.

Anything you can eat you any night you don't have to cook is usually a great night out. This evening was no exception. Our waitress was kind and accommodating. Everything was prepared wonderfully and had tremendous flavor. I recommend trying their Hui Tou, stuffed with pork or beef, pork and leek pancakes, they also have vegetarian options. Their pork shumai was delicious, xiao long bao's soup dumplings were flavorful. Delicious. I definitely need a second trip here to try their soups and more of their variety of dumplings.

Our go-to dishes are the cucumber salad (refreshing and perfectly crunchy), green scallion pancakes (especially good with the chili sauce), pork shumai (better than Din Tai Fung imo), and the spicy pork wontons. On our most recent visit, we tried the sesame noodles, and I've been daydreaming about them ever since. The staff is always friendly and attentive, the vibes inside are great, and there's a solid drink selection with cocktails, draft beer, and bottled options. And the price point? Outrageously reasonable, especially in this economy. Consistently delicious food, great service, and incredible value. Highly recommend!

It also appeared to me that the food tasted slightly better at the Alhambra location, but that may very well have been my bias. The restaurant workers looked more organized vs this location that has more of a traditional Chinese vibe, slightly tired building, not particularly clean, service feels a bit rushed and sloppy. We went there for Thanksgiving Dinner and it wasn't packed but we went at the opening time and the people kept coming. 90% looked Chinese which also speaks for the authenticity.

We scored a bottle of 2007 François Cotat Sancerre. Cotat is one of the most iconic Sancerre producers, and because his wines are built to age, finding a 2007 vintage on the menu here was a massive treat. While we didn't dive into the proper cocktail menu, my partner ordered the non-alcoholic Hojicha Orange Milk Punch, which was phenomenal, and judging by how beautiful the drinks at neighboring tables looked, I'd assume their cocktail program is strong. Will definitely revisit to try other menu items and their cocktails!
