Crispy chicken, corn, black beans lettuce. What's not to love. Soup was heavy but the salad was perfect with a light dressing and bean sprouts. Loved it. The venue itself is pretty basic. Would definitely go back on our next visit.

(I teetered on losing a star for that, but the food is pretty decent so decided against it.) The crab wontons are my favourite, filled with cream cheese, green onion and sweet crab meat. The buffet has an assortment of hot and fresh items and is consistently refilled. I especially like the onion fried rice, sweet and sour chicken balls, sesame chicken/pork, cashew chicken, beef with broccoli, and shrimp lo mein. Good place for kids too, as they have onion rings and some basic Chinese staples. They have a small salad bar as well with 2 soup options. Standard desert bar with 4 ice cream flavours to choose from. Tip! Takeout is a great value. They give you containers you fill yourself. One large styrofoam container and one soup container.

Little did we know it was also next to a park that was celebrating pride month. The only downside was that there were two live bands, playing different music competing with each other. On the bright side, Daphne, our server was super! She did a great job! We ordered adult beverages, my wife, a spiced peach iced tea while I ordered a Caesar. I figured it out earlier that a Caesar is actually a bloody Mary. Their bloody Mary comes with a nice pickle and a big chunk of a Slim Jim and plenty of sea salt around the rim. The bloody Mary was delicious! For our lunch, my wife ordered a buffalo chicken wrap while I ordered one of their seasonal specials, a shrimp and lobster stuffed pita subbing out the french fries for their Caesar salad. My stuffed Pita's were absolutely delicious! And my wife was able to eat half of her buffalo chicken wrap. We had a good time gauging conversation with some of the locals as well. If we would be locals, we would be back!

The pear salad is what everyone raves about and that's what my friend and I both ordered during my most recent visit. It was delicious, as per usual. They're always doing fun menu things, like their recent "Turkey Dinner Perogies" which looked (and sounded) amazing. I've also spotted "Pork Belly Bao Buns" that I immediately had order envy for. In the summer they often have live music, as well as set up a patio out front. The service is great. The food is fresh and innovative. Everyone working there is lovely and accommodating. Washrooms are clean. Art is for sale on the walls. What more could you ask for?

The only other meals we've had that were of comparable quality were twice the price. We heartily recommend this restaurant and are tempted to go back to Goderich (we live in Toronto), just for the meal!
